No worries I will continue to post intraday free pips analysis, u can read , follow but always try to UNDERSTAND why i have been doing that.

A trend is a consecutive string of HigherHighs and HigherLows or LowerHighs and LowerLows.

Pullback are a part of a trend. In a trend PA harmonically swings...thrust...pullback...thrust pullback

BTW as long as SMAs point up we are in an uptrend

scalping buy to do something ,sitting idle is really boring , will follow eu towards 3926 to have buy at 3944 & want see how much bull can do before the short bais still very fine

Looking at things objectively, what I see is that it is keeping to a range from 1.23800 to 1.4000. Good for scalping and that is about all.

i think what Geppy is trying to say is that on 4h chart we are not making new highs. Last high was 7 oct. after that we have entered in a strange range or consolidation.

IF and I don't play thins we are going to make a lower low. and break 1.376 the number of people that will want to get out will be so big that will cause a huge drop. that's why it's getting risky on the long side.

maybe I'm wrong and he was referring to something different

S&P reached its extreme at 1183 on very thin volume. Gold hit 1374. Things may now turn around... unless bb messes up tonight

lets call it sideways or a consolidation. here is another picture. We are sideways yea, but trending definition is not complete without another most important indicator. look at SMAs.

P.S: i can say its a trend change only when a crossover on SMAs happen or/if the price reaches the bottom sma

Long-term target is 1.33 area as stated before, yes. But I'll have several shorter term targets on the way.

That was the point... I was forcing you to ask yourself those questions because if you look at the chart without bias, you see that we failed to make a higher high but we put in a lower low. Now all we need is another low and the probability of that happening is higher than putting in a new high.

On your chart you've redrawn your trendline with just two points... that's very weak, especially compared to the other one you can draw with many points that's been broken.

It seems like my posts are falling on deaf ears here so I'm done posting for awhile. Everyone is seeing what they want and not what their charts show. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I found myself trying to convince myself that 1.40 would be broken. The fact is, it hasn't yet and it's not looking like it will happen right away. I feel much more at ease with my shorts.

No no no...just keep posting. I like to see another view opposed to mine. its always good to hear other opinion

Well 3 trendlines actually, and those are enough for me as my TRENDLINES are in fact SMAs. Look, those are the BEST trendlines I have ever used and they never fail to make me happy in my trading.

I don't use moving averages, they're garbage. I could find a moving average to fit any bias.
