I have updated the counts.

The alternative count with the triangel gets more and more likely, and my main count ugly. But see pictures on my blog.......

That's better than IG, they seem to have increased some of their spreads since I missed last week. How reliable are Oanda?

Couldn't be more happy... Even if they price shoots through your sl they normally give you the market price set as a limit price... even with 15-20 lots...

Ok cool. I've had a few issues where my platform mysteriously logged itself off at the moment I pressed the button to either take off a trade of move the sl. Most times I followed up with a phone call to IG but was fobbed off with 'nobody else reported any problems'. Ok it could be me, but it just seems to happen too often ...

novice traders bought into supply zone last night and on gaps.

didn't feel confident to take a short position because of the light volume. (i mean the whole holiday whipsaw thing)

anyway according to theory they are still eating from 1.4 supply zone if we run at that point again.

Once you see the setup and see it play out enough times, it will give you confidence to trade it. Forex trading is a game of confidence and the self belief in your own ability. Hesitation and not following through with your trade plan is the dearth of successful trading.

The more times we visit a zone, the more gets eaten, akin to chopping down a tree, but I will still lean on a level until it breaks. Entry into zones are also important as discussed in the odds enhancers PDF, courtesy of PorkPie, on the supply and demand thread.

My weekly curve analysis shows that we are quite high up on the curve with a weekly demand zone around 1.45. This also has a nice trendline confluence and if the Fed do decide on QE2, then this will be my long target.

Remember we are still in a strong uptrend, so one has to be aggressive with the profit taking on any shorts. I always keep one runner going and will let the market take the original SL as I will already have profited from the position, but if the market decides that this is the turning point, then I will be in the new trend right from the top (or bottom). This is what swing trading is all about.

I also recommend that you read 'The Desciplined Trader' by Mark Douglas.

I wish you success with your trading.... back to work. This PA is not even worth scalping!

Thanks man for feedback. I've read that, one of my favorite books.

Anyway like somebody ask him doing a webinar shorting an uptrend. I like the the way He explained the thing with trends. yet based on my trading style trend has a lot of importance so for now I'm thinking about taking profits as I see supply zone rather than going short. And going long as I see demand zones. But that's just me.

I know it will catch me long at the top. it Always does. but I've come to the conclusion that that's my drawdown and going over longer periods it works.
I will get more into this. It's really something that was missing.

Thanks again.

it stopped at the pivot between 39508 and 39356, leaning towards the bearish side, possibly retesting dpp soon.
but there is low to no vol, so i'm going to take a nap.

see you tonight in asia.
