The US have been currency manipulators for years. Last time it was Japan back in 1985 and now China.
Japan folded because of the US/Japanese ties after WW2, however China wont suffer like they did.
The US will still need to print and the dollar will fall further..Friday saw a bail our of weak currency longs and this morning weak shorts..
Whippy stuff.. US holiday and Japan out.. it...
they all adjust rates. china's is pegged.. your comparing apples to oranges. no matter what u.s. does it cant devalue verses the c wong ..

Today will be a slow day for the yen pairs and usd. Banks are closed..hmm y'all think trading cross pairs will be beneficial

Turkey and China to Shun the Dollar

ISTANBUL—Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and China Premier Wen Jiabao said Friday their two countries would from now on trade using their own currencies, effectively excluding the U.S. dollar.

"We are forming an economic strategic partnership," Mr. Erdogan said. "In all of our relations, we have agreed to use the lira and yuan."
Beijing has steadily been trying to raise the profile of the yuan, perhaps hoping it will someday play a bigger role in the world economy. In late September, China supported a Russian proposal to start direct trading between the yuan and the ruble. It has brokered a similar deal with Brazil.

in 2008 a few months before crash they were all measuring peckers then too. after the crash they shut up, at least till now.

we talked about confusing price actions, wich would take place after a leading diagonal. Here we are :-)

New highs or new lows? The race is on.

I updated all charts (main and alternatives) and we have exactly two options left. Of course: One is very bearish, the other bullish over the next days (but not for the next hours).

i find it very hard to believe that china will "shun" the dollar.........playing the role of the us biggest creditor is critical for them.

heres an article saying how pboc's zhou saying that the dollar will remain reserve currency. It sounds like theyre just playing games.

Yup- the purpose of this meeting was to blow torch China and convince leaders for a China revaluation.
However it didnt go down too well.. As the Brazilian finance minister said its a US problem and not a Chinese one.

I donot know how you will get a new high without going first down over nearly 200 pips.

You can not make a new high out of a highly corrective mode.

Hey Gator, if you don't mine making 3000-5000 pips you can check that..

I only have that pair on one broker and my account is not ready USDTRY (Turkish)

Wait for pop and short this beast all the way to 1.15
