Sorry, can't help you here. I don't pay attention to what is "commonly agreed expectation(s)", other than what I pick up (so no specific numbers, etc...) so I'm not sure where to direct you....

Let market forces play their role. The charts show two good PPZs one at 1.4200 and the other at 1.3300. I may go for the nearest and start building shorts from there to 1.4400.

Personally, I will fade any intervention that rears its head....intervention doesn't work in the long haul. Maybe they learned their lesson, as we're back to where we started prior to their efforts - but I doubt it. But they'll wait for an opportune moment when they will get the most bang - they are a bit more clever in chosing their moments than, say, the Swiss. But remember nothing is definite. My advice is to wait to see intervention, and enter on signals of reversal, counter to their action.

Oh ok. One more question. So do the holders of all of those cheap dollars suddenly become the shiznit when interest rates go up? Being that they obtained them at Crazy eddie prices?

tough business, huh? - getting paid to sit on giant piles of cash. Eventually somebody gets stuck holding a real dog though - like the Zimbabwe dollar - or the Confederate money from US Civil War days - I had a bunch of it & sold it all when I was in high school so I could buy stack heel shoes & Panama Red.

seems like anymore its all just hot legs or flatlines on this pair. I kinda miss the range trade....
