i'm not hoppin on the short bus yet folks...we haven't really seen a retracement in quite a while. I think this was due. won't be surprised to be at 1.42 next week, maybe by mid week. i'll need to see more than one or two days selling to convince me that this may be a reversal. however, my short at 1.4030 missed by 2 pips..damn! it did hit my waiting long at 1.39 with sl at 1.3845 so hope it doesn't break the 3850 area. if so i'll take one on the chin and wait for further evidence of good entry point
assume the position...whichever that may be

Be careful with longs. Not saying this isn't going to go higher, could just be the same old tricks (trying to get people short for further move up), but I'm starting to see some signs of a decent retrace in the works. Take a look at daily if close around these levels.

I don't understand why the XAU/USD change, EUR/USD change but the USD/JPY don't change.
If someone sell EUR why the gold change but the USD/JPY don't?

Please, if you have any ideea...

daily close below 1.38 ---> short
daily close above 1.38 ---> Long

Ah seems the analysis I posted some time ago is still valid! There just was more momentum than I expected initially, as you can see the resistance and the fib level are still very much respected on daily TF despite intraday rally. Stocks have also dropped with the DAX staying below resistance now pretty much very bearish, and the US stocks getting hit by the suddent pause in dollar infaltion. Analysis is still valid:

It's not even Euro sellers

Its GOLD about 3000 pips today... MASSIVE destruction... RSI Daily highest since long ago, PINBAR on daily and 1200 welcome

In my opinion its GOLD which triggered euro selling, cause in Dollar Index you dont see such a big move

But the thing is...

We might see 1.45 , so

We have non-commercial position short at an extreme point, half of the long positions, which give us a 100% bullish ratio. Last time this happened? October 2009.

Might still see 1.45 but retrace back to 1.35ish if no new high made would be healthy. It's all about where the focus is. Everybody brainwashed into QE2 right now so dollar getting hammered. Things aren't peachy an Europe either. Eventually you'll see focus change back to the PIIGS and Europe and any dollar negative news will be spun as risk aversion and dollar will gain while euro takes beating. The question is, when?
