I like this idea, currently in short

About my USD/CHF long call.

I usually don't post charts because i have a lot of adnotation and it will mean nothing to a lot of people but mean a lot to me. it will also took me a lot of time that i really need to use in trading.

But since i do appreciate when people post charts and market is not so volatile right now. I am going to post one and it's really a very simple and naked chart.

I like taking position going long term since I am also a value investor.
So it's not like i am going to commit all my capital in this trade but I do believe you have to risk if you want to make money just have to manage your risk.

Anyway. It's a weekly chart so I'm not expecting anything today or maybe not even this year. I am still a Bear in USD. As I have post here in the last weeks. Don't see anything now that can change my opinion. but sometimes i like to buy bargain and maybe this is the case here. It's not a bottom call since i don't believe in something like that especially on Forex. It will be more than pathetic.

It's just a trade that has some pretty well defined risk/reward levels.

So we have here.

1. Double bottom with 2008 low.
2. 2 trend lines connecting other previous lows.
3. RSI (14) on weekly hitting 25 today
4. a very well defined risk reward levels.

So on the other side.
1. We can break the double bottom.
2. there are more trend lines down to 0.9 0.89 or even 0.85
So even if there is no low and no high that can't be reach in Forex
a possible 1000 level pips lost can't say that is impossible.
3. RSI can go below 25 or even make divergence (that will be really nice on weekly) and the price can still go down.
4. I also draw a Fibo retrace if price will hit 0.85 which I don't know where would be if that happens. and a simple 38% retrace would still make me profitable in a few months or more than a year.

Now, having risk defined. Reward can be from a few hundred of pips to more than that which I am targeting. Like I said I don't think it's a bottom. I would also want more bearish media for bottom calls. You know Changing USD as reserve currency, Not accepting dollars in different places of the Earth And my favorite Amero

Good observation. Maybe it stalls at 1.3880 or 1.3820 at London Open after either breaking or bouncing off from 1.3850. We are almost there.

PS. After all this effort, will be disappointing to see it not hit 1.4000

Do not ask a favour , let it buy with we too at the same , just pray not to stop so sudden . time will come when automatically he will be self stopped & wait for the moment , no wastage money before that .Time approaching slowly.

The dotted blue line intersects at 1.3937. Let's see if it takes us there.

1.389 should be a very big resistance area.

Re-entered short at 1.38570 ... sequestrated 92% at 1.3845 ... stop loss for the rest of positions again at 1.3875 ... further adjustment later ...

With this move DPR-2 has been hit ... two hours prior to IMM closing ... new value dates will be calculated then ... swaps and rollover etcetera ...

EURO ist still in a strong bullish mode ... we know that ... écart is higher than 220 ... but ... so what ... we cashed and covered more than enough of this in total - though with interuptions and adjustments en toutes directions ... at least we are more than content with the day ...
