yea im a us citizen....but i dont incorporate any bias.....im 100% neutral. This is not about national pride, because honestly, I could care less. Im not patriotic the least bit.

if you trade with bias, you will lose. Grudge trading is a sure one way ticket to failure.

this is basically H4 equidistant channel with a mid-line based on M15... the channel is narrowing and we are headed south, so it seems.

the whole thing is, help was granted to greece that euros are being bought... this just happened, i think. "we are going to spend sum x for the aid of country y to buy currency z"... somehow, the market doesn't really seem to appreciate this "disturbance".

cause i wrote you almost 10 points there.
so again.

retail sales, GDP, ISM, business confidence and all of the above
doing better = aka indicators are going up and not down compared to previous periods.

US Financial Bill has a lot to do with Europe if business comes from US to Europe. Second we are no longer in a liquidity crisis. That's done now for more than a year. Banks have plenty of cash. We have also a confidence problem now. Confidence doesn't come from irresponsible spending. it comes from responsibility.

i don't mind. it's just the way i view the issue here.
but i guess only time will tell which path would bring more progress

spending for growth. (best case) or huge debt no growth and default. worst case
fiscal responsibility without damaging growth. best case) or stagflation from austerity

so let's hope for the best

Holding both, I still think it goes lower, my lower TL is at roughly 1.36 with support a bit under 1.36

Actually, US and EZ are both in bad shape. The difference being EZ has openly acknowledged there is a problem and is actively trying to solve it. Ironically, the consequences of economic responsability, are bullish Euro which will enhance the said problem.

if you are comparing the us to europe, you righteously do so, but please keep the following in mind:

the us has a long history, ez does not. so basically anything the ez does to be in a comfortable situation atm has been done before by the us. it's like david vs. goliath... by imitating something long enough you might come close, but you will rarely excel.

there is no such thing as european culture. those 234 years have created something that only the ancient chinese culture can break. from an economic viewpoint, the us have dominated quite some time, with the chinese spying their way to the top... europe is like a hunchbacked servant that cannot stand on its own legs.

I have never been one to undermine other traders views.

Mine was for 30 pips down from 1.36910, until a Deutche trader warned of an early spike on the opening of the eurozone markets.

Anyway, spike or not, you are well placed to make profit given your entry point.

Does anyone know of a website where one can live stream the forex speeches? Like while I'm writing this, Fed Chairman Bernanke Speaks and I'm looking to watch this live, but cannot find a website to do so.

Your input would be greatly appreciated.

I would be careful.. We have hidden divergence/trend divergence on 1H and 4H, meaning that trend will continue up. Lower maybe, but then only with a very small amount of pips. I'm looking for some more longs here for the last ride up to 1,3815 or 1,3896..
