But looking at the UTL (and fib) that price is currently pressed up hard against, could it be that price was eager to get to where it is, and is now going to slow and pull back just a bit? It cant keep up that pace surely, why would it?

Of course they don't, from the perspective that anyone of enough size liquidity could come in and break any line or fib (but then again, on this level, no guarantee the market wouldn't just gobble that liquidity).

Of course they do, from the perspective of showing mass psychology, and providing probability defined risk/reward entry points into a trend or trend reversal.

Rough guesstimate, pull-back to 1.34 area from current levels, then a resumption of up-trend to the 1.45 area completing a standard 5 wave pattern.

sorry for bombarding with charts and messy lines ....

a bit bored today .... but love all those trendlines and channels ...

sigh ! ..... wouldn't it be wonderful if the price follows and obeys all those supports and resistances to the dot ....

Agree with you that prices often overshoot, but I would say that obvious confluence would only serve to increase significance.

the EURO is poised to edge higher tomorrow (Tokyo) on the back of strong fundamentals & TREND: "sluggish" US recovery, QE II, stimulus talk, USD reserves diversification from Asian central banks, tightening spreads between peripheral sovereigns and BUNDS, China to the "rescue" over in Greece, and Irish pension funds proposing to invest in state bonds. Few charts only , still to wait some for my bais down to see perhaps .

TD sequential counts in lower tf , 3 or more H4 candles / 1 more M30 candle / 5 5m tf or more candles may initiate retracement down .
