1.4000 is a mere 250 pips away. So not sure what your snide comments are all about. It also happens to be one of the strongest currencies out there right now. If you look at the monthly there is an upper tl at 1..4500 that could even be tested.
That wasn't a snide remark dude. We have all, at some point on FF, been told to back up our wishes or assumptions with analysis. Dont take it so personally. I wasnt addressing you.
So, Im curious, what is your aggravated remark all about? I wasnt the only one to make a comment about that post. Why are you having a shot at me?
A straight up statement like - "EU is going to blow right through 1.4xxx next week." without any explanation or backup is not helpful in assessing the market. Or am I wrong here?
Also, if you re read my post, you will see that I have absolutely no probs with price heading up way past 1.4000. I didnt say it wouldnt.
But I DO think it may retrace back to 1.3510 before it heads up...and I gave my reasons why... We are at a 161.8 Fib and the UTL.
To me, there will most probably be a pullback. I may be wrong, but what are the chances?
Whereas courtt5 gave absolutely zero to back up his - "its gonna go through the roof real fast this coming week".
And you're bugging me? Are you and courtt5 both long with huge lots, and nervous about it?? I wouldnt be...its going to 1.4000+!!!

Agree with you all, here my view of this EU, 1.404xx is the good point to be going down .... enclosure the EU chart on the weekly tf

up coming week we have some more POMO .. that may support USD plus it almost seems that on es last week every little dip to 1135 was being bought. This could mean we see ES move up thru 1160 and next stop would be 1250.
Odd how we see this up move in es and now oil starting to move fast ....reminds me a little of 2008 the squeal..oil went to 146 before crash where this move started in 70 area consolidation and then rose over the course of 12 month .
here is that channel I am watching on eu ...fe 100 at 1.4000 and then 1994 highs 1.4500 could be potential reversal zones.
I think eu moves to 1.4000 next week just due to the momentum it currently has and IF oil moves above the 85 handle then we could see considerable strength in the euro still
also note how the bad news on irish banks and spain had no impact on eu at all. ...the eu buy fever is here

Thanks for your thoughts mate...No doubt about that EU buy fever. It has been an amazing trip up to here.
But looking at the UTL (and fib) that price is currently pressed up hard against, could it be that price was eager to get to where it is, and is now going to slow and pull back just a bit? It cant keep up that pace surely, why would it?
I am also looking at the Weekly TF, and I hear you re the Weekly UTL, and price going there.
But, timing...I agree with the destination, but not the path to it.
If the Daily UTL and 161.8 fib dont mean anything here, and should just be ignored, I have missed a huge lesson I am about to learn, no doubt.
BTW, looking at your chart closely, I see that the Daily UTL isnt connected to any candles, how come? On my chart, and others I see posted here, price is up hard against it right now.
On your chart, price would tap the disconnected UTL at about 1.4000.
