Hey tard, your clearly a newb, I get 10 losers in a row sometimes, it doesn't matter, it matters how much money I make over a year period, sometiems I get wins that make up for over 10 losses.

just like the humble pinbar.

Not luck, again it's basics, if you have a setup that looks like it has HUGE potential, I stick alot more on, that EJ trade, there hasn't been a weekly pin like that for long time, i got a tiny 5 min pin near the bottom of that weekly pin, this is not luck, it's how I trade, if I think somethig has a huge potential, i'll stick some % on , if it's so so setups like the aussie that I just got fried on, i risk much lower, go look at m y setups, and you'll see the ones I get fried on lately, are very soso trades, you need to see the big picture. Anyway, I trade however the hell I want, call me lucky or watever you want, my account will speak for it self.
Btw fxooo, or anyone else, I know a friend in the pf, and they confirmed that terunghi, can't remember the exact spelling, but anyway, they confirmed that he had a journal that he did all before the fact, and totally cleaned up, something like every 20 trades only 1 loss, or even better, can't remember, but it was over a long period of time, i think there is like 50 or so live trades, can't remember exactly.

Also my friend confirmed that albatross has a live journal where he cleans the market with his trading.

It's no wonder they keep it the private forum, or there would a lot of idiots trolling in there journal, even wormboy who has a great journal gets trolls hassling him.

SO there is actually proof that james can teach people to make money.

But of course some idiot is going to respond to this and say prove it, so watever, i just wasted my time typing this.

Tehuringa does very well. There are a number of others too who don't post on the main thread who do very well. There is a journal section where a number of us post our trades, its a very worthwhile exercise as others can scrutinise and give recommendations. Plus Mike is always on hand to assist and he's a top guy.

This is of course doesn't answer whether Jim is credible but the PF he created is credible.

I've noticed a lot more people in the PF as of late so this thread appears to be having the opposite effect.

Kudos to you Mr Smith for posting your trades live on FF.

I don't suppose you would be interested in sharing your trading method/edge? Are you a fundamentalist or technician or both? Or maybe infinite yield? I'm genuinely interested in hearing or does a pro never reveal their secrets? There is not much point to FF otherwise.

I'm off on holiday now so if you have time please enlighten us.

I already recommended 10 books written by or about proven successful traders. All for the cost of 1month access at j16's PF. Reading and understanding those, and other as well, you'll be able to come up with a strategy suited to your own personality.

I'm not a pro, so there are no secrets for me to reveal. But lots of real pros, since Livermore, a hundred years ago, have revealed their 'secrets'. Such a pitty that people think they're outdated and feel they have to reinvent the wheel.

u have to understand that not many people are good/talented enough to trade (or do other endeavors in life).
a book may have knowledge shared inside its pages, but a book doesnt not talk/respond to the reader, once a reader has questions.
reading a book does not guarantee that u will learn something.

take the j16 free thread for instance.
does anybody wonder why i have 5000+ posts to date? i only joined last Feb.2009.
most of my posts are replies related to basic questions related to that thread; the rest of my replies are responses to basic questions (regarding other methods, MT4, etc)
even if that free thread already has a thousand posts, hundreds of charts, thousands of redundant replies, people still ask redundant questions.
it's either they
dont have time to read back on the thread posts;
dont want to read back
or they simply cant comprehend what has been shared, no matter how easy it is.

Think about that.

if many people still have a hard time digesting the info from a thread where u can have redundant/unlimited Q&A (with charts to boot!!), how do u expect people to learn by simply reading a book??
btw, reading books made by proven successful traders does NOT guarantee the reader will become successful too.

each of us has a different level of comprehension &/or intelligence.
some people learn or learn more/faster by reading a book.
some people learn or learn more/faster by listening to a tape/CD.
some people learn or learn more/faster by watching a video tutorial.
some people learn or learn more/faster by interacting with other people.
Everyone is different. we have to understand & accept that.

I don't have to prove anything to you and nor do I intend to...I've told you where you can find the results.

Try reading the J16 thread here...all the information is free and there is stuff that builds on Prings work.

Hi, I checked yesterday and none of Martin Pring's books are free. If you are getting free copies, you are stealing them and violating international copyright laws. Why is it OK for you to steal and encourage stealing from Martin? Where is your ethical high ground here?
