Loosing some momentum. How deep will this pullback be I wonder, next 30min bar will be more telling.

Yes they work, 50% of the time. I prefer to have faith in my analysis, not that of others.

My point was you can't really rely on any of them. I've followed one or two in the past but they've been wrong and when they're wrong it can be an expensive mistake for you.

the poorer the people, the more positive the sentiment. that's how the game works. we will see a significant change, when every citizen has 3 jobs and earns 1 euro per hour, then this will be discussed as "too much" again.

I gotta admit that I have made some bad trades as a newer trader only thinking primarily on the fundamentals and basics like pivots, S/R etc. because I have a solid "logical" understanding of economics, and political science.
This mindset messed with my trading bad because I didn't understand sentiment and market manipulation. My fundamental knowledge is only helpful when combined with a minimal amount of technical knowledge.
The way the EU messed with "solutions" amidst chaos last spring really taught me NOT to trust reports and what you hear. I am at that place again.

Can you give concrete examples, you consider as 'messing'? The reason I am asking is that my impression at that time was that nobody really knew what the solutions should be, or what their outcome would be like. Meaning all of the central bankers were on unchartered territory..economic theories could only state what they expected, but there has never been a proof or empirical evidence for those theories.

So the EZ news came out bad but better than expected on the Irish bank front both in loans and rating. It appears than barring some kind of complete cancellation speech for QE2 by Bernanke and jobless number cut in half we will take out 1.37 today and possibly 1.38 this week. I don't know what it will take to reverse this uptrend as EZ news at the moment even when not so great doesnt have much effect.

I don't know what timeframes you work off and what your targets or stop loss are, but it seems to me that this is not a great entry for a long!
