Took this NZD/USD trade to confirm my first SonicR trade. My own chart has too much color, maybe I should tamper with a few things to make it good.

Went out for the Laghee Horner book mentioned somewhere above and got it, would like to see how that applies, but it already looks like an interesting book to me.

Please do not take what I am about to say, as criticism. Because the last week, or so, seems to have been lousy for trading with "false starts" followed by flat PA, and also sudden reversals, something in your post triggered in me the idea to post a thought.

What was wrong with your SonicR short entry? Yes, the HL sequence was there (1st two legs of anticipated WAVE). Yes, the Dragon was angled down. Yes, PA was again bouncing down off of major resistance at the whole number 0.7400. So, what was wrong?

Possibly two things; it looks like your entry was too close to USD FOMC release, and it was after "Approved Hours."

Why am I mentioning this? I am because the last week, or so, seems to have been lousy for trading, with too many false starts, flat PA and reversals. Not to mention that across the board, pairs seem to have reached major S&R, and apparently consolidation is not yet over. And if you add to all that the two above mentioned items regarding your entry, a disaster could develop.

Ok, aside from talking about "what's wrong", is there anything positive to say about this market? Yes. Until pairs cease consolidation and make their first good move, one way or the other, this seems a good time to "suggest" that trades be aimed at quick, small profits....accept 10 to 30+ pips in the very first move, then get the hell out of Dodge!

On another note, your chart is hard to read (location of EP, SL, TP(s)). May I suggest, for the benefit of all members now and in the future that will be looking at charts in an attempt to learn, that you place bold lines on your chart to show these important SonicR items (see my exampleS). Thank you.

Best wishes on your trade, Precap2. PA seems to be moving down again, so you may be "good to go". But you can see what I meant about sudden reversals, etc.

Not only is the Daily showing a Bear Flag, now so is the M15! A medium impact JPY Retail Sales (year over year) release comes up in about 3 hours. It will be interesting to see if that triggers any change in direction.

I welcome criticism and indeed would have been disappointed if no one said something about my first entry on SonicR.
Your comments are noted though I made the entry not based entirely on SonicR, but with a combination of my normal S&R trading style (because I trade only live and don't waste my time with demo, need to protect money somehow ). I'd be a lil bit more frequent here to understand certain basics of this method.

Possibilities here. PA close to EP area. Has WAVE. S&R= been bouncing along half number. Dragon and Trend starting to turn upwards.....and no news to muck it up for at least seven hours.

This bugger has taken me for a ride for over a week. If this works out, it will help even the score a lot sooner. The only TP is tentative. This is an "early entry off S&R" and allows for a SonicR entry also, should it continue, set up, and run.

Edit: Price is really getting whipsawed back and forth since the London traders came on board, so you can tell they are frenetically working to build the positions they want, and discard what they don't.....all in preparation for a run. (Just opinion on that last thought, but we will see.) Added updated chart.

This M5 pic says it all. Look at the last two highest spikes in the volume, one purple, one aqua.

The purple spike was the selloff right at the Frankfurt Open, and it was followed by two more high spikes as they continued selling off.

The second aqua spike was right at the first PA top after the London Open.....AFTER those traders pumped up the price.....not during the pump, but AFTERWARDS when they had the price at the very highs THAT is when the high volume hit!!!!!!!! And it was followed by high spikes as the London selloff began.

This is pump and dump activity for sure....as only the big guns in the London and the US sessions can do! So, what will the US traders do?

And this new, third/last spike (while typing this post) is again, large activity at the highs. No telling how far the PPMs will pump it. Right now price is unrelated to everything but GREED.....one last pump for the Queen!

Market Outlook:

With a high impact US release in less than 4 hours, it looks like the Frankfurt Frankensteins and the London Larcenists are WACKING everything hard against dollar strength.......BEFORE the release??????

Kinda makes one suspicious that they are just driving prices opposite the real direction PA will be driven later.....to gorge themselves on "Special Pricing" ahead of the run.

Yes, Speculation, with a capital "S". But what else is there to do while waiting for the PPMs to finish their playing around?

Edit: Well here is something to think about. Is the Pound REALLY that strong against the Dollar? The Pound is going up relative to the Dollar (well ahead of a major release....yeah, right!). So, is it going up against the Euro too? Look at EURGBP below. Sure, it looks like the Pound is strengthening against the Euro. But look more closely. Look at those little ass candles while "working the price down" Ridiculous! Now, LOOK at all the volume once the PPMs got the price down!!!!!!! It is a SETUP, a ruse! Bet the Pound doesn't stay this strong against the EURO......, nor against the Dollar either!

This looks more like the Pound's "Last Hurrah!" than anything else. And the way the PPMs are working the price, it seems they know GU is going to lose the 600 pips it gained this month......AND A LOT MORE!

I've added another short at previous resistance. Both entries with solid stoploss. total risking 3.3% of my account on this position.

Second entry was bigger so it moves average to higher place than expected.

Open portion of the position (10%) is risk free ride ... I'll trail it or take full profit at 111.20 . Let's see what will happen ...

+9% of my balance was total profit of this position till now.

I didn't know my PM is disabled, as a matter of fact I've never used PM in this forum so maybe it's disabled by default. I'll try to put it right.
I've been playing this sonic style and reading the lady's book to get some more info on her style.
will post more trades as I do them.

Previous trade closed at BE (The open portion was from the first entry, so it closed at 113.69. I'd gone short again at round number 114.00 ... Let's see what will happen next ...

Would make sense for the dollar to strengthen and retest the 200ma crossing, at some point.
