haha, i just thought what will happen if ez broke up... 16 versions of gdr with big walls around them. countries in ez aren't too keen on being a unity either, so after this game will be over there will be a lot "tea culpa".

no currency survives the long haul, never has.

euro just has worse immediate problems due to the 16 nation with different rule thing..then you have as gator said a million times, no banking no commodities and the manufacturing has no more buyers cause the world economy sucks too

ANOTHER article that makes it sound like its business as usual...no big deal.

This again reminds me of the months/weeks/days before the Euro dropped last May of Trichet saying over and over that solutions were made and everything was fine.

A little more weekness and maybe a trend change to the downside. I think I'll be looking for shorts today. Still early though.

I hope not because if history repeats also the US printing money without control + mismanagement on the economy + oil prices will repeat the collapse of the 70s. High inflation / high unemployment.

Lets hope that Europe and US have learnt from history... we'll see
