I think it has more to do with where the focus is. SM knows how to manipulate the media. Media tries to explain everything so if markets are moving down for example, media will try to explain why markets are moving down. Anything bullish that may be going on is ignored because it doesn't explain anything. People tend to think the markets follow the news. It's the other way around. The news follows the markets.

Trust me, QE2 is slowly becoming an unpopular choice among FED committee chiefs,politicians, and the public. The fat lady has not sung yet on QE2.

imagine news as ingredients of a cake.
Already the mixture has all ingredients news is a bit more of a certain ingredient and makes a bit of difference when first added but when mixed thoroughly it still bakes the same cake you were making before.
making green pips large and red pips small this is my goal.

Where the bear weapon , the hammer ? take it down from 3586 & hold only to show .Commented it as possible black hawk with the shrp raise down above 3600 , perhaps taking shape for the short !! rest of the wing may be about shape to dive deep as as of bear flag for 214 pips & more down !!

Looking at a chart retrospectively, there will always be a technical model that fits, however I would tend to believe that it is not as simply applied to future price action.

that was a rip-off... got the same one and the only thing it does for me is drawing some arrows on my chart... no hurricanes, no thunderstorms or what-so-ever.

Ya you are right...all I can say is that I kept reading everyone making calls that meant nothing.....people just calling out hey we are going up....hey we are tanking........that I just thought I would throw my own pea soup into the mix.....actually not a very professional thing to do.....a few months ago this thread was awesome to read! That is why I joined.....it seems to have gone downhill.....and many of the long time posters seem to be laying low and not saying much.........so the long and short of it is........in a more professional manner.......I wish people would stop the flip flop calls on the market as there are alot of newbies that read the thread....and it can get pretty overwhelming......there are a few posters here that give detailed reasons for their market views.....and those people know who they are.....the others should try and post likewise....including myself.
