Hi Eyevoltage I thought I would post this one over here as its a pretty good psych level trade.
Bear bar closing under the 900 level (yellow line) after TL break and after Gu done its 100ish pip run in LO.
Exit 75 level (yellow line) and S/R from earlier this morning.

Great to see some activity on this thread. Nice charts and contributions from FxFighter, Mdowd, Reflex and Mushashi......really good stuff.

Trouble is, I've been so busy this morning and into the afternoon with other things, that I haven't had the time other than to look in now and again.

I can't believe how cable dropped like that with EU and EJ going the other way!

Anyway, all good stuff, guys. Drop in anytime!!

Morning, folks.

Just finished this trade on cable. The blue rectangle highlights where it all began. A bit of a pull-back, followed by some consolidation. The interesting thing however is the series of higher lows marching up the 13ema before price started heading north, where it almost immediately hit the confluence formed by the pivot mid-level and the xx20 psych-line. Obviously, it made sense to wait to see if the confluence would be breached, which it was after a strong momentum candle, giving confidence for the rest of the move. Exit as shown after price hit the xx50 psych-line.

Hi EV nice trade I have known all about using psych levels for trading form V but have only just started to really concentrate on them they work great.
Heres a nice example a HL after breaking back into wednesdays low and holding it as support once price broke 75 psych level went straight to 00 psych level.

Some big moves on Gu these days!

Nice example, reflex. Since discovering the joys of psych-lines from acumen, I've never looked back! I've seen your examples on V's thread. HL/LH combined with psych-lines is usually a killer!

Cheers EV everyonce in a while I go over the top with things I'm watching on my charts trying to get as many pips as possible then it takes a couple of losing days and I'm doing the exact same thing I was before being profitable again lol.
Have to always keep reminding myself 20-30pips is more than enough a day and sometimes looking for more I will give 20-30pips back.

Alot of the time you are lucky enough to get yourself in to the biggest move of the day using HL/LH and psych levels but I have to keep telling myself 20 consistent pips is better than one big run everyonce in a while.
