Let's be honest this is just about France and Germany, they are responsible for over 50% of the EU GDP and are/were paramount in the forming of the euro and have the most to lose if it would fail.

The EU is still the largest economic area in the world and it is not going to fail. Bund yields at least give a return compared to the US, it is not surprising that China has been a net seller of US debt in the last 3 months and is the largest buyer of EU debt bar the ECB. The fall in the dollar and the increase of yields in EU debt is actually helping China, the Renminbi is pegged to the dollar so they are getting more euro's for their exports and an increase of yields on the debt holdings. All in all we could actually see a shift of money flow irrespective of EU financial troubles that could benefit the euro.

All the PIIGs could fall of the face of the earth tomorrow and it would hardly dent the GDP of the EU, you need to see everything in relationships and not as an isolated problem.

This really comes down to 2 different philosophies with the US using the left wing socialistic Keynesian model of spend, spend, spend and the EU being more capitalistic driven, I still stongly believe that the EU will come out on top.

The only thing that can help the dollar is China unpegging the Renminbi and that is never going to happen in this economic climate.

though closed longs & start short still want see how price reacts at usdx 78.62 support & eu 3645.

and this support is important as it breaks down eu to continue up .H1,M15 tf already sell signal long time & perhaps done with price stall apparently wherase M30 buy sinal waiting any up wherease this M5 tf confirmed sell signal just above the support of interest .
lets see what will happen .

Wave counts ,apparently 5th /1 end some how & next correction towards 3508 due .

In my opinion S/R (horizontal), and fibo in larger timeframes like weekly, monthly.

But at barely 1.5% it is madness. China has flogged over 100Bn of US debt this year, they are cracking open the floodgates. Once the US Congress starts with sanctions or stronger words on the Renminbi there will be a mass exocus to EU debt.

How's all the bullshit calls in the forum today? Hope everyone was on the right side of their bullshit calls in price action.

Stayed away from reading this thread today becuase too many people have too many opinions on PA.........oh my god we are going to 1.40 or oh my god....we are dropping to 1.28

Anyway.....I had a very successful day today not reading this thead.....there is alot of influence here and I only hope to pass this on to any newbie out there...........do your own homework.....read your own charts.......a forum can cloud your own judgement.

Again....hope everyone had good bullshit calls.......and green pips or ticks if you trade the futures like me!

It is not a bubble, it is a tradewar. It is good for domestic PR in the US, just blame the foreigners, the average Joe Doe on the street has no clue anyways and it is a vote getter. The politicians on this side of the pond would do exactly the same thing if they find themselves in this position.

China is the US banker, if they continue to sell of the paper they are holding then that will take care of any currency fluctuations and they could even afford to unpeg the Renminbi.

How does the saying go - if you owe the banker $1 mio then you have a problem, but if you owe the banker $1 bio, or $800 bio - then the banker has a problem.

If China were to float its currency you'd see how bubblicious its economy is pdq...
