This US dollar sell off has been relentless. I think there is more to this than meets the eye. Unusual patterns. Dips in currencies been sought with massive spikes and shallow pullbacks again.
Mkt trying to pick tops in currencies. So who really is onboard?
Are US asset holders quietly unloading at any chance they can ?

Just grabbed 8 pips on that ride up. I don't think it will pass the 90 area - strong resistance there. Time for some shorts?

what a happy day today

forex is control and manipulated by the richest group in the world (the Elite),they aim for a one world government (the new world order).they using diplomatic,military and economic strategy to achieve this.this elite own this whole world (US,Euro.....you name it)right now.whether you fight them or sleep with them,it's your own choice.they don't care whose economy is collapsing by their manipulation.

the monthly candle show their attention and sleep with them as long as you want it

They are. I remember a couple of times ago seeing that DXY at the 89 level. It was simply wayyyyyyyyyy overbought. Now we see that EUR/USD coming back to decent and reasonable levels.

Nobody wants to be the last one in this huge US Dollar and US debts markets bubble. So people are realizing that and putting their US assets into other currencies, assets, countries. Those Americans who are putting their money in the bank with no return will get wiped out in the actual depression in the US.
US Dollar is trash... Get out of that Ponzi scheme !!!

China is going to let their currency rises and floats eventually... so they won't and dont need to prop up anymore the US Dollar. The losses of exports by a stronger Renminbi will be compensate by a higher domestic demand and these Chineses are going to consume more of what they are producing.
US Dollar is trash... Get out of that Ponzi scheme !!!

Just got an email from my broker, FXCM that as of October 18 new legislation passed in the U.S will not allow them to counterparty my London account. I will have to use their U.S office in order to continue trading. Looks like my forex career will be coming to a close as of the end of October.
All that is left in FF is just plain garbage. "Cloggie"

WHY does the govt. have to intervene with everything. These idiot politicians have no clue the implications of messing with peoples leverage. It should be up to me if I want to screw with my money and get over-leveraged - not the govt. It's actually safer in my opinion, to have leverage if you're intraday trading. Without leverage - you have to have more money at risk.

So I can't even move my account overseas?

I got the same letter, but since I also have an account with another broker with no presence in the US (saw this coming awhile ago), it's business as usual, I'll just close the fxcm account (they are no good anyway) and continue with the other one.

The frank-dodd bill only applies to brokers regulated by the cftc, and exempts firms that are regulated by the sec (Deutche Bank, Citipro and others - some still offer 100:1 leverage because of sec supervision, not Citibank, they always had 50:1), so you could trade through Deutche or Citibank and be ok. And because they are banks, your funds benefit from fdic protection. No hedging though, that's over with in the US.

I've done a lot of research on this bill, if you want to know more, pm me and I'll give you the skinny.

I hate the fact that government interference is forcing people out of the business, which for some of us is our livelihood. it just plain sucks.

that I have issue with, it's the anti hedging policy. Many of times I would be in a long term trade in one direction, and scalping the other. Hedging has saved my ass more than once.
