Didn't the last intervention cost them $20bil ? It seems futile though, they probably will re-enter at around 83, they don't want to see 82. Japan has over $9trillion in cash.

BOJ fighting at 84,20/40 area - 50 % Fib area - has had the psychological side on there side: traders all over the world would have thought: whow BOJ has smart boys, entering at the 50 % fibo area; they know what they do - lets enjoy the party too, lets go for 90 +++

now they have only one thing: a problem - all traders in the world think: whow BOJ has stupid boys ..... lets enjoy the party for the 75 and lower...

How many of you think that it is begining of new JPY uptrend...Keeping in mind BoJ intervention...

If it is so...it should head to 95.00

I think we are in 60 min wave 2... this will void if JPY gets below 83.50.

May be the deviation was not big enough to move the market.

the only thing that matters are the charts. If you try to trade long because good data or short because bad data you will not stay any longer in this business.

With the positive tankan data, usually UJ will move downaward. But now, I beleive BOJ is carefully watching this and hence all the chances of UJ going up.

well I think that these days positive data that can move equties up will move yen crosses north, especialy now after intervention of boj
