i honestly would like to delay this evaluation, until we break 1.38953. i have seen so many different opinions yet, it's really hard to decide what we are facing... a correction from 1.6x, an extended c-wave, a mere retest of formerly not retested areas... i give up.

Raising rates is typically a sign of stregthening economy so it should strenghten the USD at least in the short term after it is announced.
Today's zone = Tomorrow's opportunity!

the last time i saw them raising, usd gained approx. 170 pips in a couple of minutes.

Down.

If rates stay the same or move any lower, USD will fall lower against EUR.

In order for USD to climb, rates will need to increase.

The rapport EUR/USD depends on the perception...I remember some months ago when all agree that the rapport will became 1

Waiting for a good retracement to 1.3487/60 in order to go long... I dont think there is enough power to go up before a strong retracement.

dont beat yourself up.. news is not on your chart. it has nothing to do with your plotting. no chart or indi had the news results before they were announced. although some may think it was. we get lucky if news benefits our trade. and screwed if in the other side.

i don't know... from what i see, euro can drop significantly when a rating agency just coughs, and it can rise more than 900 pips in 4 days as well... i can only tell that fundamentals are in play right now, which foreshadow completely different target-projections (real big numbers).

the only thing i can say is that trading has changed somehow over the summer.

Curious to know how many us citizens are trading with offshore brokers? New regs going into effect oct 18....repatriation seems to be the next shoe to drop.....

My banker said that in last time markets does not listen to fundamentals news. I mean they listen, but do another in the result as we have already got accustomed

oh, i don't... my wife does this for me. she actually set a limit. 3 years from the first of october. if i didn't get the basics until then... ouch.
