DislikedInterest rates are low when they are supposed to be high... these low rates are causing malinvestment and helps inflating the country with new money and higher debt... looks goodIgnored

DislikedDon't know how to put this but if the US goes we all go.
As a Canadian trader you must understand that we depend on the US for trade. If they can't afford our products then we will be left haning in the wind.
Manufacturing (what is left) will vanish and we will all be dependant on gas and oil. The Canadian Government can't let that happen and thus the USD is not going to collaps anytime soon.
The rest of the world is in the same boat. Don't fool yourself.Ignored
DislikedThat's false... why would we need them ? We just have to reorganize our economy and get through other markets like China who wants more and more of everything. They can easily take a bigger place. We relied too much on the US for too many times... and companies are adapting...Ignored

THE US actually CAN'T afford what they are buying... look at their trade deficits... And when they are paying back it's with inflated money that is losing value. And the US government can't borrow more and more and more like a Ponzi Scheme...Ignored

This could end up being pretty big news. It illustrates the dissent for QE2 that is being reported. This slower approach should/would squelch the impact and promote a more stable recovery than the jolt of QE2.
IMO The Fed has watched Japans efforts to bring down the YEN largely fail by throwing 300 billion + (estimates as high as 500B) at it.
This would be a more USD Bull approach if needed at all.Ignored
