yes my s/l was below 3400. now trailing stop initiated, thou I may monitor the trade manually.

When my indicators spot a consolidation I usually open the trade. Detected OsMA hidden bullish divergence confirmed the trade.

Chairman Bernanke speaks tonight just before market close and the BOJ speaks tommorow... I mentioned this in an earlier post that we might see some possible gaps when the market re-opens.

Watching for spikes in the end of NY session today while Benanke speech is happening could give some clues to how it may gap.

It depends...after I close this trade...it will be enuf. I dont like to overtrade and lose the profit. Money management plays a key part in my trading plan

This is it with the upmove. Now a correction toward the 1.3384/76 area! from there possible continuation of the uptrend, although I doubt it for now. Lets see...

Put in my TP just before the 1.35 mark for a 90 pip gain on reentry. Theres going to be alot of resistance between 1.3500 and 1.3510. For the sake of 10 pips I'd rather sit that one out and look at a reentry once we're clear of the .3510

If the numbers are reasonable (say not a new major low), we'll go up. We'll need something truly shocking right now to stop the bull. On the other hand, EUR/USD @ 1.35 or higher is going to hurt the euro economy real soon: BMW's won't be that cheap anymore in dollars, so we'll start seeing paler numbers coming out of Europe. And of course, there is always the wild card play: Greece, Ireland...

Should be pretty safe level to sell as what comes intraday, i would do it around 1.3520-30.
Level should pave the way for near future after likely consolidation.

Anyway, needs a strong swing downside to wipe out fresh north-goers.

Well looking at the weekly, barring any big changes pretty impressive. Something like 20 or 21 week highs

Agreed I have been on a good roll since Tuesday (well all week has been pretty good) with 7 straight profit trades and no losses since Tuesday. All in all I am up 140 pips on the week. Not as good as many I am sure (I haven't figured out yet how to get in the big trends low and when to best exit) but good none the less.

My issue is learning to not jump out on small retraces before price continues but to better determine actual time of full reversal when to cut profits and run.

That is what I want to learn the most.

Ok good luck to you on that, but in my book and i would like to think most others, placing a trade right before a high impact news item is gambling. News can go either way, if you went long then you were lucky this time, it could of quite easily have gone the other way, you can't disagree with that, or can you?
