Up on all pairs againat the JPY... some others against the USD have moved up and down some. The EURUSD has moved down, then up, then down, then up. Where do people see the EURUSD heading after the dust settles?

The one thing I see for now is that EUR has gained a little more and is hoding better aainst JPY than USD???

Anybody see/ know what news caused the sudden volatility few mins ago? I've been looking all over the place (Bloomberg, this forum and the likes) but nothing to say BOJ intervening right now or anything else.

I happened to be in 2 trades at the time, a long with UJ and short which seemed to be going nowhere with EU so bit of a lucky break. Finally have a profit to go to bed with (it's 05:35 my end, thought I'd never get any sleep). Would still like to know just what happened though.

Hah! So NOW FXstreet writes that "Yen soars as BoJ intervenes in again"

Well I've been watching the various sites for the past hours n tedious hours to see if there was any such move forecast. Oh well, time lags. All looks a bit too volatile now though so I MUST drag myself away from the screen. Wonder if things will still be interesting in the later morning ......

when I see EURUSD chart. I think it is in up trend. If sustain above 1.3300, it will touch 1.3500 & more. This is my view. May be I am wrong.

No idea where this is going to end up. Up, Down? This 4hr hs made a higher high and higher low if that means anythung anymore. Also the high is above the last big bear candle (3 candles ago on my broker)...

Thanks, there does seem to be more news on that site than some of the others. Picked up this snippet from the site "The BOJ may be trying their hand at “stealth” intervention this morning. Rather than buy dollars in their own name, they may be using Japanese banks as proxies so that the buying appears to the market to be “natural” interest rather than merely intervention.
Stop loss sell orders are rumored below the 84.25 level, traders report."

So seems they were trying to be sneaky this time.

The site also mentioned that China bought AUD/USD - but doesn't give much more info on that.

Try oanda's news feed, go to their site - FXlabs and download their FXnews.
Not sure if it can be done without having an account with them, I put just 1K$ with them to use their news feed it is good and faster then the other ones.
I trade with FXCM they also have news feed but oanda is way better concerning the news feed.

Give it a go it might be possible without having a live account, not sure though.
