Hi Aserbfx

I think a similar question was asked before about the chart image in the panel. It's a scaled down version of the real chart just to have a quick look rather than going to MT4 all the time. It is not exactly to scale so will appear a bit different. I have the same thing and it's normal.

Talking of suggestions, one thing that has caused me a few issues is the magic number. I am moving everything to 0 but with other trades already at different MN it causes a problem sometimes when I forget what MN was used and enter L2. So if MN for L2 is different then the panel will lose track of L1 as we know.

I know it is now displayed on the chart but is there a way to display the actual MN on the panel for existing trades?
Or way for the panel to consider all trades as its own. I think Steve's bot does that.

Another suggestion Mart: with the ability to manage multiple platforms, I have at least two platforms on my PC, sometimes 3, all managed from the panel.

It would be great if when clicking the tabs on the panel to switch from one platform to another, it would also bring the relevant MT4 platform into the foreground on the PC.

Yes, that would be nice. The other thing is the multiple alerts and it changes the previous screen settings (order by) and also resets the lot sizes... Having those remain static would be a real time saver for me!

Needless to say, I'm a Phover Panel fan and i add my mega-kudos to Mart (and you other Martites who have offered great improvement suggestions)!

I have two operation questions:

1. I can't seem to get the TPmode1.Lots1r to work for me. I'm trading my 0.02 lots and want to take 0.01 lot off the table at TP1 (ATR) and let the other one run to TPmode1.TakeProfit2. I am using 50 as the setting for TPmode1.Lots1r as per the manual. And although MT4 shows the lots closing separately, they are both closing withing 1 second of each other at the same price (TP1). I can't get the 2nd lot to stay open until TPmode1.TakeProfit2.

2. I'm stumped how to input the following SL scenario: No stop loss until TP1, at which time i want the SL to use TS Mode 2 for the current candle. I've tried a number of combination's but can't seem to get this simple TS scenario correct.

By the way Mart, two quick suggestions:

1. Any way to increase the font size for the blue TP dashed-line label (e.g., TP 57 Pips). Since i'm using an ATR TP it changes every entry, and at it's current micro-font size and blue color (on a black background), oh so hard for these tired eyes to see it!

2. Any way to highlight the currency pairs on the panel in a different font color (or some other way). The reason being, currently i click through all of the pairs and write down those that are getting close to a set up. Consider it a nicety, but it would be great to be able to highlight currency pairs of interest right on the panel.

You'll need to change the extention to .exe so FF is happy to let you upload it.

Below is an example of a problem that has come up more then once for me. I enable an EA for a single trade, it places the trade, and then i will walk away and come back to the computer a few hours later and there will be a second trade placed. It seems that it is randomly happening and has happend a few times to me. Why is this occuring? is it a bug or user error?

That didn't happened to me in 8 weeks trading with the panel. I must investigated that. Pretty strange.

There is a flaw somewhere that I have to find.

This situation occurs when the EA has closed the portion of the lot you wanted to close but when it's unable to set SL to BE (check your log you probably have an errormodify on this order). It then close the rest of the order to avoid your second portion to go negative. That's a protection.

Your settings are ok. Download the v3 beta of the manager somewhere in this thread (click the paperclip in the upper rigth corner to find the file).
Try it on one pair and let me know after.

I have had this happen to me several times, yes.

However, since I also have an unresolved issue whereby the email alerts do NOT fire, I have resigned myself to waiting for version 3. Who KNOWS where the issue lies since it only affects SOME users, could be certain MT4 broker platforms, could be OS related, who knows.

Tough to complain about a fantastic tool that is provided for free - much gratitude Mart, you are the best!

Wasnt complaining about the tool, it works great, however, I am using it on a live account and if things like this are occurring that is not good and by me bringing it up hopefully we can find the bug.

If it is not a blatent error in the code here are some suggestions maybe we can look for:
Situation1:
EA places trade, EA circle goes red on panel. MT4 is then restarted for whatever reason and panel stays open. EA re-initiates without turning the circle green.

Situation2:
EA places trade, circle turns red. Panel has critical error by changing parameters (has happened to me quite a few times) and is restarted. EA circle is still red, however maybe EA re-initiates without turning circle green.

Situation3:
Broker related?? I am using IBFX and MB Trader and it has happened to both brokers.

Situation4: OS related Using windows Vista x64 ultimate.

ok, so we know the issue is not broker specific.
I too am running vista 64 bit ultimate, so maybe it is an OS-related issue.

I realize u werent complaining, I was just explaining why I havent bugged Mart more - I know how you feel re running on a live account and I wont do it yet for exactly the same reason, thankfully I discovered the issue(s) while on demo...
