OK here is tp on 2 lines -- we are constantly -- gathering data-- it seems that 30 pips is standard tp for all my system-- Earlier I said anything less than 20 pips is loss--

gu upper 15693 lower 15630 sl is 63 pips


in your chart is there an indicator ... where we can find it by the way...

it seems a little diferent from zaman but why not test it

yesterday your 2lines were pretty close to H3/L3 of Camrilla Pivots. I rally dont care if it is pivots or something you invented. But the 2lines are losing today as well in both directions they failed. I am in a loss today sorry. i need to look for something else. Trading is not just blidnly relying on any signals or 2 lines.

you need to tweak the GMT offset and you will get closer result!!!!

btw, the SL of 63 pips on one loss and TP of 30pips on other win is a loss overall to me

here is hints for you -- example -- I used to work for big electronic retailer in Canada -- do you know which quarter they make most of there profit--

1st 2nd -- not so good in negative --3rd breakeven -- 4th most of the profit
like wise -- this month on 2lines we had 24 trades 5 loss
19*30 = 570 5 loss 62 62 62 61 63 =310

570 - 310 = 260 pips for the month (how many traders does this in month) this is from just 2lines

Hello Traders,

I have been using camarilla lines, its L3 and H3 counted as strong reversing area these are strong suppoert/resistence level's... L4 and H4 is considered as beakout levels and L5 and H5 as overshoot level's...

I m not saying Zaman;s 2 Lines are same as camarilla level's but just posting how camarilla works..

but if we look at zaman's 2 level's then they seems entirely different from camarilla level's... becoz we trade 2Lines as breakout levels.. but L3/H3 of camarilla are strong reversing level's

today the first loss was at - 63 pips ( the tp of 30 pips was never reached). the market then hit the other level, however that too reversed and went down over - 30 pips ! it then went into a period of consolidation. fearing the worst i came out of the 2nd trade too, at - 30 pips. i did not want a repeat of last weeks 2 consecutive losses totalling - 130 pips !

however, later that trade would have gone into profit if i had stayed with it. but i was already out of the trade by this time.

my loss today has totalled - 93 pips.

i was hoping to recover what i had lost last week. but this week has proven to be a losing week as well ! i think iam now down on my balance what i started off with 5 weeks ago.

the most worrying thing is, if after 5 weeks you cannot make 1 pip and in fact are down , then that requires serious thought.

the 2 lines seem to be failing me.

i was hoping...
same here. It started off good but then either i am not playing it correctly or this is not for me period. Also the more i try to recover my losses the more i am in a loss. i decided to go into demo mode for some time now.

hi

but most of us only take 1 trade a day. i.e. either the upper level or lower level. not both. and on some days the levels aren't even hit.

so i think the total trades this month is much less than 24. we are only in the 23rd of this month. i think we probably had about 15 trades out of which 5 were losses. i think the total tally is around break even.

for me this month has turned out to be a losing month in any case.

Exactly...HE IS USING the 2 lines (L3/H3) as breakouts...I mean you have a 50/50 shot of either going through the line as resistance or it will either turn resistance into support...this is very basic trading priciples we are talking about.

They are not different...what is different is when he randomly chooses to use the NY close vs the daily close etc... thats the only variation. By the way has he posted an acct balance for those 22 winning trades he's taken? Nope.

What part of "me and 1 other guy have *backtested (visually I guess) for a couple of weeks" qualifies as "success over a long period of time" quit pretending to have the grail, and just admit that you have an idea and want a bunch of free testing by various people to see where the flaws in your INDICATOR (because honestly, all you have are indicators, you don't have systems...and no...TP @ +30 or +20, or +40 is NOT a system) We've all been here before man...quit acting like you're a genius.

Let't not be after him in particular. I think he has posted the trades in excel sheet not from the actual account platform though. So yes L3/H3 breakout is what we have been trying i believe and the originality is that L3/H3 are strong reversal points. From the last upper/lower line numbers they matched if GMT offset is -1 (which is NY or EST)

What are your thoughts, how can we further improve it? 50/50 chances are just pure gambling

also you go back and look at the cam pivots -- only today came close to my 2 lines -- at both is been trade oppsitely--

anyone with trading sense will see you have nothing to offer but garbage-- try to spoil a good thread and systems -- but this in your pipe and smoke it
