Would you mind letting me know what timeframes you trade from now? Do you stick to the 4hr and dailys or are you willing to jumo down to the 1hr and 15mins... for the trend trading system I am talking about.

everything from 5 min to daily, but I tend to stick to the h1 and h4.

Hi,
As i am not a full time trader therefore i prefer to stay with longer TFs such as H1 or H4. I use these TFs to enter trades and then let it run.

Professional traders usually have strategies for short TF and Long TF / postion trades. You can enter in a postion trade in trend direction using a smaller TF as well.

Im not knocking it of because entering on pullbacks is THE way to go IMHO.
however, identifying continually WHEN the pullback has finished, isnt that easy IMHO.

This is something that both Custos and myself feel the same about (correct me if im wrong Custos) and that is that we get faked out considerably entering only on the pullback.


Any comments / suggestions?

Re. your 3rd chart:

if you draw a trend line using the 1st 2 highs of the newly forming downtrend, the correction you are referring to seems just about right in that it rises to that trend line.
