Is Asia going to push this pair higher or pull them down? I know that 3306 is the +2/8 line and should therefore force a downward move but will it even make it to 3306?

For me it seems like any correlation to anything varies, meaning.

If there is news= News is then top priority
then we have bourses especially Nikkei, Dax, Dow jones
then we have gold
then we have other crossess
then we have oil
then pure speculation


meaning, if oil has volatility but also the bourses, traders tend to look more on the bourses.... 10 min before ASX open..

But this can be completely wrong, just an observation which I don't use for trading....

On an intraday basis, if i see this hourly close below 1,3260 i'll scalp it for 30 pips first and will see how it reacts around 1,3230

target is 1,3235-50 then long from there probably

74.95 is toppy for oil in this thought. if course, we can go higher.

usdx gartely pattern bottom was breached.. so its invalid now.. a double bottom. on the weekly is about 10 pips below current level.. gartley was breached by just a few pips. 80.05.. 80 may be a good sike level also.. math said 3009 target for eu.. im looking for 3005/06

I'm not sure what your chart shows. The one I posted is the Nymex crude future. Very little oil gets traded on the spot market. In fact, the oil traded in futures is just a small fraction of the actual trade in oil, which is done in forward contracts between the sellers & end users.

Frankly, I don't understand why there is a spread between the spot and futures price, but there is - usally, it's <$1.00, but recently I have noticed it >$3 sometimes.
