Sounds like you need to be trading DEMO until you have consistent wins.Even if it takes 6 months!!You have the mindset of Losing everything as a trader.When you are in a loss its a sure sign you are taking chances with the things you notice about yourself.Many traders have been there but not to that extreme I'd say.You need to clear your head sir and find yourself a trading plan that works for you.This is not a get rich quick thing.If you think it is you are sadly mistaken.Sorry if I sound a lil harsh but its the truth.

Hello ,

hope that most of you made some pips today.

When the FOMC came out, price went south and triggered my stop sell, only to reverse, shoot up and bye bye. Shit happens, my SL filled about 30 pips too late. But I will not complain, I made my Pips in the night, morning till noon.

But I am not satisfied with my action. Learned a lesson - don't play with FOMC.

Here is my reworked Elliott-Wave count, which adapts the last move.

I have certain variants published on my "Blog", which isn't really a blog, only todays counts. If you like to scroll through different counts, here is my link:

See here the version, which I find right now the best count. It seems, that this FOMC push was a subwave 3 of a wave 5. Now we are in subwave 4.

Subwave 2 was a relatively shallow correction, so subwave 4 might reach the heart of subwave 3 (rule of alternation)

The beauty of this count is, that we have only one wave left.

Than the bearish count might continue with targets maybe around or south of 1.18

Dude,

You simply need to take a break and come back in again after some of your confidence comes back. During your break, see if you can stay away from the market and anything about the market.

After your break, see if you can trade 0.01 lot sizes.

The reason I say this is that you're too eager to get your money back... so when you try to revenge trade then the jokes on you cause you're not thinking straight...

Remember it's not your percentage of wins and losses but you also need to look at your average wins and losses as well. For example, if you make 75% wins and 25% losses however your average pip wins are 25 pips and average losses are 100 pips cause you let it run then every 10 trades you've lost 62.5 pips.

The reason why you lose when ever you trade larger sizes is because you self sabotage yourself. Well let me give you this analogy..

You're like an airconditioner.. when ever it reaches below the set level the aircon kicks in and the temperature goes up to the set level and the opposite happens whenever the temperature goes above the set level it kicks in and the temperature goes down...

So in saying that, you will need to build yourself up from a small account trading small manageable sizes to larger sizes over a period of 12-24 months.. from here you should get your 100K back. You need to bring up your set temperature (mindset) slowly so that you can handle larger wins and also be able to dismiss without a thought larger losses... you'll be able to accept the larger losses easier as being part of the game..

Also always use a stop loss.. usually a swing high or a swing low... depending on the timeframe you use... generally if you use the higher timeframes, the previous day's high and low can be your support & resistance thus making it your stop loss point...

Take profit is another thing.. use known strong levels of supports and resistance by looking at the larger chart to see where the price has paused...

Dude, like everybody else in this forum, if you haven't loss big (battle scars) most likely you're not making it or going to make it big for the long term... there's always beginners luck but that runs out and soon you'll have to deal with it yourself...

Keep researching and improving your trades.. one thing I know is that my system today was not my system in my first year... My first year was all about smaller timeframes now my current trading methods are all about long term, stress free methods... I trade no more than 12-15 trades a month but have an average of +900 pips per month... (not a show off point) ok... and definitely not one to be a teacher too.. what I learnt is from the net... Google it... and good luck..

Nice EWT - Analyse, i have almost the same counts like you in my analyse.
Take look at this place http://www.marketvisiontv.com/ . They show daily ewt count for several pa´s. I use there analyse to verify my own counts.

One more remark:

In the above shown count so far no wave extended. So I expect wave 5 to extend. Meaning this last subwave 5 (which is to be build) is very likely extended, therefore price can go up quite a lot. I can imagine the area around 1.3500.

I am now in a long from 1.3259, looking to hit 1.3299 first and 1.3329 second. Currently the trade went into profit by 5 pips but now has gone against me by 11 pips. Does everyone feel that this trade is worth staying in at this time with the Sydney market open now and the Asian market set to open in less than 2 hours...

Should I stay in or get out?
