Thank you for pointing that one out. In the past I had a lot of discussions about the right P-Value, but no one mentioned the 64 of Murrey Math Guru himself.

I did a lot of experiments with different P-Values, and the ones smaller 64 really suck. Even in stock markets.

My "problem" with the 64 timeframe was, that I had the idea, that a corrective move like the recent run up from the low of 1.3029 should be able to be contained into the -2/8 to +2/8 span. That is not possible with the 64, but with the 256.

I am also an Elliott-Wave Trader, and I know, that one needs at least 120-150 price marks (better more) to judge a wave with a high degree of confidence. So I came to 256.

One of the disadvantages is, that Price sometimes reverses between the lines. On an 64 system would have been a line.

I don't know which one will result in better gains

Which P-Values are other traders here using? And for how long are you using MM?

I will run both P-Values on different screens.

We will see......

Does anyone have an eye on AUD/USD? Seem to be ready for a downmove. Any thoughts on that ?

No problem...I have a very good experience with MM itself. Been using it for 2 years. In the beginning i was combining it with other s/r levels ( camarilla, fibos etc..). I came up to the conclusion that MM is a way better suited for my trades.

Anyway, I have a friend who has taught me some "finesse" of MM, and I dont use it mechanically. MM needs other indicators to confirm an entry, but once u get a grip u will feel $$$$$ coming to your pocket.

SO far using P 64 on hourly TFs I had pretty good results even with crosses.
256 looks pretty much in the past and I dont belive in "past repeating". Currency markets are ever changing and I dont really feel like "watching the past" as I dont have a need for that.

If u have had good results stick to 256 period, for 2 years of MM trading i dont have any intention to make a change. Black Widow has been pretty good entangling the pips in it

It's funny, in my projection at this is the point we go down to 3040/30 and the last touch of this area is 30 pips higher in the projection. But we already went there. So we either touch it again, drop 30 pips below or we just continue up to the last part of the projection 3140? It's tricky this prediction stuff.

Hope it will be 3040.. my heart can't really take it if it goes to 3140 hehe
