trader_melb, your chart is not the daily, it is the H1! And you must compare tops to tops, or bottoms to bottoms. There is no divergence. But, even if there had been, you didn't bother to point out if you expected a long or a short setup.

EJ:

M15 shows Dragon, Trend both converging on whole number. Not much in the way of news anytime soon. My hypothesis has been that the big guns need to make money. So, if there is no excuse coming up soon to move the price, they will do it anyway. So, the question is if they do, which way?

Both Dragon and Trend are tending upwards. And PA is up from the lows put in during the Aisan session. Why did the asian traders knock the price down, anyway? If it was to take on shorts at lower prices, that would be consistent.

We gotta let the market decide. But my money is on a move up. But, I will wait and see what, if anything, happens.

i am new at the sonic strategy but it has been working very well for me as a good entry into the market just put this trade in.Veterans of this strategy let me know if this is a good sonic tade or not. I meant LH not HL

EJ and EU:

Both trades stopped out. Sonic is soooooo right when saying it is really not worth it most of the time to trade during the first session of the week.

I agree definitely!
I entered the same trade on EU and lost circa 20 pips.
Furtunately, I made another trade on GU and got the pips back.
GU + 40pips:
There was something like a hidden divergence, but this trade was not from the sure ones, neither.

i'am newbiz started to trade in demo ac - metatrade ikfo and found your sonic trade system, had downloaded few sonic v3, had go through the pages few time getting inch by inch to my mind, however i not able to understand how to read the wave signal properly. is there any other document you have so i can refer to study and make some practise.

i just about 2 week in the currency trade demo.

EJ:

Now looking at this as a SonicR re-entry short. Early euro traders took price a bit above whole number and kept it there until US open, which was first drive down. Now, US traders have moved it back up above the whole number area again. They missed out on the highs the euro traders took the price to, so possibly this is the US traders way of prepping for 2nd leg down.

The attached chart shows where possibly the EP, SL and TP might be placed, allowing for a move back down to start up a bit, confirming it all. If this does not happen within next 1.5 hours, then maybe the next leg down won't take place until tomorrow, excepting a late US session move.

Edit: Looks like the US traders will not be denied the same shorting highs the euro traders pumped the price to! This changes the WAVE, but not materially. If anything, it lends support to the hypothesis that the Big Guns are pumping and shorting at highs in preparation for another, maybe much bigger, move down. This hypothesis holds strong while the WAVE (lower HLs) is unbroken. TP is lowered somewhat.

EU and EJ:

Hard to say if things are shaping up for a late US session run on some of the pairs. But it there is, the attached charts show possbile short setups. Of course, at this time, everything is tentative. The red & blue dotted lines are S&R from H4.

Ha! Obviously, pipoca, yours is not a SonicR trade! (Yeah, I hear you. A SonicR "early entry off bounce at major S&R area" trade!)

Take a look at the replacement of the FR study. Last PA exactly hit 50% level. And the first extension level downwards (27%) aligns well with H4 support and the RgL for today.

Yes first entry is not a sonic, I have already tighted the stop and I cannot be hurted a lot with this one.

Edit : EU short doesn't show a lot of momentum, I guess I am trading during not approved hours. USDCHF is bearish and USDJPY is stalling at DPV.

Here it is. In fact, this chart gives a very strong clue as to "What's Up?" from the Professional Price Manipulators.

Their mechanics go something like this. They place a large sell order up top, then pump the price up there to get it filled. To pump the price up they have to settle the imbalance between long and short orders at each intervening price level, buying from shorts and selling to longs. The buys they make settling an imbalance in shorts, they will close at a profit at the top (This will actually fill part of their large short order!). The sells they make settling an imbalance in longs will simply add to their large short position sitting at the top; all of which they will close for a sizeable profit, later when they drive the price down well below this entire area! All it takes is money. And the PPMs have plenty of it! And they are willing to use it this way when they smell a good opportunity coming up. In this case, the upcoming high impact US releases may be the trigger they are going to use to slam dunk the price out of and well below this curent 120+ pip range!
