Hey Skyzer...

I ran backtest once again and changed SL from 140 to 130 and SMA from 197 to 31. Ran test during London open and still came up with 3 losses for this calendar year. Modelling quality is 90%... not sure what else could be wrong.

How is it possible you don't have any losses?

Losses happened on:
Jan 26, July 16, and Sept 1

Alpari UK
Tokyo V17a
SMA 31 from 197
SL 130 from 140

Be careful taking SHORT overnight, tomorrow FOMC Rate Decision,

2:15 PM if trade doesn't work till then, I feel Dollar going to be sold

off hard as usual.. As of now Cable at Support 3. And I personally

think this is a BUY, not SELL... IMHO.

Alright, FOMC give a green light to SHORT DOLLAR, as usual..

You're welcome, guys It's been so predictable lately.. Dollar strenght 1-2 days prior FOMC meeting

and then DUMP after announcement. As we all know, nobody will rise rates anytime soon.

Alright, finally 1st TP hit, others running on the trailing stop..

And I close it manually as well (about +72 pips in total for 3 trades), money is good.. now can sleep well

Dollar getting killed, Silver/Gold should fly overnight..

Just to let you know Tokyo18 Alpha 4 is now available on the advanced Tokyo thread:

It has a new parameter for widening the trade window to catch more trades:

The TradeWindowSizeHours parameter allows you adjust the width of the window in which orders can be placed. Previously orders had to be placed in a 1 hour window between 23:00:00 and 23:59:59 GMT, but by setting the TradeWindowSizeHour to a value greater than 1.0 this window can be extended. For example a setting of 1.5 means 23:00:00 - 00:29:59 GMT.

The reason for adding this parameter is that I noticed the 5min fractal sometimes forms just outside the 1 hour window and good (profitable) setups are missed. In a backest from 01AUG09 - 20SEP10 using a 1.5 hour window, 327 trades were taken using the 3 position settings with a profit of 5285 pips and there was just 1 loosing day (3x140 loss). This compared to 231 trades with a profit of 4356 pips and 0 loosing days when using the 1 hour window. Just last week (17SEP10) is a good example where the wider window allows the 3 position setting to catch a 152 pip move (22 + 50 + 80).
