Alright! Cable position closed with 3 pips for 3= 9 pips..

At least it's not a loss, should be better next time..

P.S:

This thing is crazy, going back and forth, I might place both, BUY and SELL at the same time

and will close whichever in profit

At least you can shag like that in the UK, but us in the USA can't do that, I mean we can't buy and sell at the same time. hedge

I just opened an acct with GoMarkets in Au. Easy and they don't care if you're Amer or Euro, they treat all the same.
And they have great spreads and no minimum to open. Also hedging and high leverage.

Thanks, well I think I'll let it RUN.. Actually it's tough to watch..

I like when it's all happens overnight and I don't have to suffer to watch

this show next day.. What would I probably do, when Cable again

at it highs tonight? I'll lower LOT Size.. If it drops, I'll delete Stop LOSS

and Average down 150 pips lower

Cable still in RANGE with attempts to break out higher.. IMHO.

doesn't look like trade is going to open today.
197 is heading up while 10 is heading down.
Even if you had sma 31 and 10 thay are both heading in different directions.

Just did a backtest with V17a ...

One with 31 SMA and the other 197 SMA... all setting default except for MM set at 5% x 3 positions.

Dont see how using 31 eliminates the losses?? Am I using different broker?

My result is quite ok for 16th September trade.

Guys gotta say this..the only reason your trying to eliminate the loss is because the SL is so big..system with normal risk and return you can deal with...all this work to eradicate a loser ..and then market changes and its all for nothing any way..

I trade with losses its part of the game..if you want to use this system then you have to accept the fact that the account will grow slowly because all your money management should be based on 3 x 140 pip losses which means wins will be small

Do me a favor, before you hit TEST button, check your actual

GBPUSD spreads. Maybe you did test while your spreads were 7-11 pips?

(between sessions) - that's possible. Also Update your 1m Cable chart History..

Here is my backtest 1 YEAR td - $20000 start 3% risk- 31 SMA Profit $16,492.50

P.S and I USE 130 pips SL not 140
