No, ej just dropped back down the 20 odd pips that it had gone up a few hours earlier but in the intervening time had risen a bit so is trading about 10 pips higher than 3 hours or so ago. EU has not really done much of anything in hours.

Price action sucks right now, but we might see another push to 1,3100 before Europeans awake

Hi, to me it looks like price wants to 'fall' towards the trend line.

That's it I surrender. With inflation picking up I can't be short equities. Point taken, time to readjust. Strangely enough someone is propping eveything up. Even stranger - just look at Oil! And compare to EUR/USD, S&P and Gold .... Come again? We might be closer to some "huge ïnflaionary revelation event" then we suspect. I'm bearish on the economy, but that doesn't necessarily mean the stock market will drop. Actually history teaches it can rally the most during bad times... in a hyperinflationary scenario. We are entering a critical period. Something big is coming. Oil is off just $3,5 ... dollar lower across the board, manufacturing dropping, stocks rallying on low volume? Wait, low volume! Stocks aren't really rallying, dollar is dropping and inflating the prices! Gold making new highs - is all this real buying, or simply a mechanical increase in prices due to currency debasement?... All makes sense except oil, what's going on there? Any ideas on oil?

From the chart reading, likely it will hot 1.3034 or below.

Actually I'm begining to think it might really work, this entire stimulus/printing/recovery/balloon creation! And why not really, it's always been a scam to begin with - money, gold and other "assets", it's all an illusion, it's all about persuading people to believe in and use your notes/coins etc. If I created a banknote of my own, say calling it Masrim dollar(M$) and offered to pay with it in the supermarket, would it be accepted? Nope, because I can't persuade the store to accept it, unless I bully them into it or lure with promises of goods to back it up. Sounds familliar, doesn't it? When it's the government that issues the people of X's currency it's immediately backed up with tanks, bombs and eager brain washed soldiers. If I had an army at my disposal, would my currency start to gain value? Yep, i'm pretty certain. Änd that is why the major fiat currencies will survive no matter what. Look around, the FED can print as much as they want, can debase, stimulate, drop money from helicopters, wipe their behinds publicly with it so what? You still have to pay for your stuff in dollars, right? That's how international trade works, because Uncle Sam has the biggest gun. His friends are doing well also, they have guns too, and as long as everyone plays nice and within the rules, they get a piece of the fat pie. So the economy is just a huge scam and bully contest. Now the question is , does it really matter? Surely you could argue about the rationality of this all, or ethical issues etc, but the only relevant question is just how effective is it? So far the track record is good. As long as everyone is persuaded by the CB swindlers into this, it's going to work. And why not? Do you know a better system? If this works, why look for another one?

oil is just bouncing around $75 last 3 months - kind of a snooze. Supposedly inventories been down, but who trusts those numbers? You'd exepect a little action with hurricnes in the oil patch, but even that has been adagio. All of the oil data is just made up and agreed to over coffee on a daily basis anyway.

And E/U - its just barbwire until somebody sneak attacks a breakout on the back of some earth-shattering news - PIIGs bond spreads Goldman Basel III BoJ etc blahdeblah.

You just flip a coin & hope to be on the right side with big hands & keep your stops tight if you ain't...
