gartley...its got potential of 2917 on the smaller term and 2646 if completed. the usdx one has a 90 pip potential in the short run.. but 90 pips on usdx is much more when compared on eu.. anyway on my target of 2930..... 2917 fits the slip easily.. but puts us below dpp.. the mid of 2981 are rarely not reached.. its the money maker.. its the fat lady singing.

Don't think so, not yet. I have short US equities, which I'm comfortable holding for now. Not sure what's going to happen now re JPY. But I don't think it's a good sign when a CB intervenes and creates market disturbances. I have a feeling China and the yuan will be playing here too, but let's see how it goes.

Ah yes! I actually see what could happen. Now if the USA keeps complaining about yuan manipulation, the chinese can just say "Well japan weakened the yen vs the dollar to help their economy, why shouldn't we weaken the yuan to help ours?" It gives them quite an argument. And coincidently there's right now a visit of US officals in China bout that issue and congress have some gatherings on that too. Makes you wonder, who went short USD/JPY to force Japan into intervention. And what's with the timing. Makes food for thought.

but that is a mini intervention ... baby intervention ... not a big deal until now ... I have seen ten times bigger ones in 1998 and before that ... ongoing rounds & rounds concertos ... never ending ... over hours and hours ... again and again ... with spikes more than three or four big numbers within one hour ... sometimes choppy ... 70 pips up and down then further 150 pips ... zack - boum ...

this is not a big deal here ...
