I think v2.3 is doing fine. The faulty signal from v2.2 has just hit SL. V2.3 has saved me -30 pips.
This is very good start.

Disliked

The errors in the journal are caused because the indicator is trying to display it's info in a sub-window, but when the indicator is called by the iCustom function there is no sub-window for it to write to. The only way out that I can see is to open the indicator & ea on the same chart (the journal errors then stop), but then you are left with problem 2 as mentioned above. Over time the journal will create a large file on your hard disk...Ignored
DislikedMeet Louise, named as the contributor who told me to come here wished. Nothing sophisticated yet - just a straight tp and sl.

However I believe in both these cases (EUR/USD AUD/USD) may have been avoided if the EA was running on version 2.3 ? In both cases the Buy signal was given after a very large bullish last session which looks like there is more than 25 points past the 5 ema
Is it possible to update the v2.3 for this EA ?Ignored
DislikedAnother solution is to import the indi code into Louise. I might look at this tomorrow.
