Meet Louise, named as the contributor who told me to come here wished. Nothing sophisticated yet - just a straight tp and sl.
A few points:
A few points:
- you need to have the attached version of the indi in your indicator's folder. This returns the value of the current indi signal as hold, go long or go short. The version in post 1 does not have this.
- you need to run the ea on a separate chart to the indi, otherwise the flashing screen will drive you to drink 'n drugs.
- your Journal tab will fill to overflowing with 'unknown subwindow' errors:
- I know, so don't tell me about them.
- There is nothing I can do about them, so don't tell me about them.
- I do not know what causes them, so don't tell me about them.
- I do not know how to cure them, so don't tell me about them.
- Anyone who does tell me about them proves conclusively they have not been bothered to read this and gets a blast from me. Possibly followed by a visit from a hitman.
- Over to the indi-coders for this one.
- Louise automatically accommodates to x digit criminals, so enter tp and sl as proper pips, not piplets.
- set CriminalIsECN to true if your criminal insists on two-stage order sending. This now includes IBFX.
- make sure your indicator inputs are the same as those you input into Murray Advisor. The colours were an attempt to stop the flashing; they do not work.
As usual, the code is my copyright only because this is the state of the law here in the UK. I hereby give full permission to coders to use it in any way. Feel free to add sophisticated mm functionality and anything else you might find useful.
Let's see if Louise has staying-power.
