I was planning to keep it hidden little bit further, but I have noticed most of the bad signals are similar and could have been filtered out.

I am attaching v2.3 for trial purposes and compare performance to v2.2.

I have used the modified version by gspe as a basis so that this new version suits both 4 and 5 digit brokers. Thanks gspe

This MM H4 indy seems to work normally like an indicator, late signal. But it's support and resistance areas are quite good. So I take trades when I see multiple failure, and also when I see things like in the posted chart, an inside bar was broken after failure to move up, I go with the break.

Are you able to fix this? When I add Skoda's code to return the status of the indi as either 0, 1 or 2 the display stops. The indi still generates signals (just picked up an eu 'Go short' alert on the H1) but does not display the figures.

The problem is caused by ExtBuffer[0] = 0; Comment this out and re-compile and the display is fine.

I can even code the EA with the indi like this as I really only need to know if the buffer holds a value of either 1 or 2; it would just be good to know the indi is working properly.

USD/CAD worked for me aswel.
I had it open since yesterday and just closed it (approaching 0/8 and there is not much range in last few days) with 20 PIPS profit.

1 for long
2 for short

I could also code the EA, but since you seem to be able to pump them out quicker than I can turn my PC on I'll leave it to you.

Hi

The code will look for any opportunity that can give you more than 10 pips. But, you have to make decision whether you want to get in or not based on Reward/Loss ratio.

I believe V2.3 (if works fine) will increase the probability of a trade to go in your direction.

To me the most accurate SL should be if the 4Hr candle closes below EMA(5,close) in case of LONG which means the uptrend is broken and vise versa in SHORT. As I said before, the pair will tend to move above EMA(5,close) the green line but after sometime will tend to retrace to test this line and continue moving up.

However, if EMA(5,close) is so close or far then, you may use 25 - 30 pips as SL.

In conclusion, I believe SL setting needs further optimization and feedback about how to further improve.

Did you get same signals that I recieved ?
I just got one to short Eur/Jpy
In most of the cases, you will both receive the same signal, however, since he is one hour in advance, he will get better position in the entry.

Since this strategy is based on observations and trial & error, I have downloaded his platform to check both. I believe there might be an incentive. But, we need to test on the long term at least.

After those big moves which were against the trend, most likely we will not see entry signal before next candle after 4 hrs from now.

Sorry about the blank display on the previous version. Here is the latest version (2.3) updated to put out values to the external buffer for an EA to use.

This time it has been tested and works. The number next to "MA" in the indicator window is the value it is sending out.
