but back to topic: doesn't look too good atm for shorting... have to re-establish my charts, everything's still too biased here.

no position atm. things looks very unclear....the 2H chart clearly indicate were the market should move,but hell it follow its rules.
has put a sell order at 2829 sl 10 pip target 2744.

Sorry for asking the same question again. But last time I didn't get any answers.

Let, there is a USA news for which the market is waiting. Assume, the currency pair to trade is euro/usd.

What will happen if better than expected data come from USA?
What will happen if worse than expected data come from USA?

And again,

What will happen if much better than expected data come from USA?
What will happen if much worse than expected data come from USA?

I am confused with the "Risk aversion" and 'Risk Appetite matters". In past i noticed much better than expected data from USA weakened USD due to risk appetite.

Thanks a lot in advance!

h4 BB shows diverging bands...EMAs and RSI are positive...H1 shows uptrend and m15 after the initial convergence start diverging/expanding...
Also candle closes above upper BB shows bullish momentum
2878 possible target

Regarding news here is my 2 cent: I dont know anybody who has good accuracy at predicting trends. With "good" i mean the accuracy i need to be able to make a living. And that accuracy is even worse at the red and sometimes yellow news at the first page here at FF.

So if you want to loose what little accuracy you probably have, trade the news.

On the other hand at red news there is often pretty big moves, so it might be possible to develop a system to get into those. I wouldnt devise such a system, the accuracy is probably not good enough.

So really i think that the world market is a REALLY chaotic, strange, stupid function of a dying economic paradigm, and all those things (the chaos, the strangeness, the stupidity) gets worse at news.
