I think this is due to the fact, that Cable is in Range and Long TF SMA doesn't have enough time to

turn one way or the other prior to the Tokyo trading session..

Some did get trades on Alpari UK that they are still stuck in...

Same here no trades all week.
Last trade was the big loss last week.
Waiting to get all that back when geoffs EA says its time.
I will just have to wait until next week.
Euro, yen and pound all seem to be ranging now.
It seems like most indicators and EAs work best when the pair is trending.
I 'm not sure about this one.
I still can't seem to get the stratagey tester to work right, could any one help me with that. Seems like i dont have enough history.
I down loaded some from Alpri like someone said, but it only seem to get a few trades on back testing. I need someone to walk me through it if at all possible. Help

Downside risk 80+ JPY is at 15-20 years high to every currency

anyone know where to get a year of history to download for backtesting.
I am having a hard time finding any.

Hi,

When I test with GMT+1 the results are really bad, a negative slope, while GMT+2 a positive slope.

Now I ask, in summer time the GMT is +2 , and in winter is GMT +1. So for winter if it will use GMT+1 it will create again negative bad results ?

Should one always use GMT+2 with Alpari even in winter time ?

i believe i found the answer to finding history.
I had to open a standard demo account instead of a mini account and then more history downloaded.
I hope that helps someone else who might be having the same problem.

10 & 140 both down on my chart, but the angle for 140 is not convincing. It's in ranging mode. Not gonna trade at this moment today.

I am sorry but I do not understand your question!

The EA does not trade every day, especially when the market is ranging, it
works best when the market is trending.

Yes, I use +2 all year round!
