Nice question The chicken or the egg? I tend to believe that the level came first, but the opposite is also plausible.

On low volume (considering that Netdania is reliable, it may not be), we stabilized around 1.2720 at the moment. It feels like the market would have agreed with that level as a "fair price". When the spikes disappeared, it came down from 1.2740 down to the current level. BUT... today morning we were NOT at 1.2720, so it was BROUGHT to that level.

I tend to believe that every market open (Asia, Europe and US) redefines a standby level. Besides that level, we have the spikes which creates the daily fluctuations.

That's my newbie analysis.

you look for 1.0247 and me look for 1.0257 .. if break then it will go easily towards 1.0310..short term support now held on 217 and 202..back to euro now..still neutral...

YW. I spent alot of time studying VSA and its part of the back of my mind now but I didn't quite become a convert. There's plenty of room for equivocation with the volume data. Sometimes less is more. I mostly just scalp based on momentum and wave cycles but I often do watch ES volume while I am scalping spot E/U.
