I am confused with the "Risk aversion" and 'Risk Appetite matters". In past i noticed much better than expected data from USA weakened USD due to risk appetite.
In forex, one currency is always up!

I think you should get out of your short. 15m is about to break the triangle to the upside now.

With the recent dovish news for Euro Zone, including ECB, Merkel as well as adverse news from Ireland and Greece, coupled with the last NFP data which "dispelled" or delayed possibilities of QE2, I think a better-than-expected US data would actually cause EUR/USD to plunge.

Reason being, it reflects that US economy is "not that bad" (subjective, we all know) while the focus now is on Euro Zone and all the "bad news". This encourages more USD buying instead of EUR.

Weeks back, it used to be "damned-if-I-do, damned-if-I-dont" for USD. Good news brings on risk aversion and EUR/USD rallies with equities. Bad news and USD was dumped for fear of QE2.

Let's see what the market sentiment is this time.

Already done at 2714.. have a plan to take short again at 1.2752.. if it go there with sl 2769...
