Lately, it was clear the direct correlation but Wow 0,95 meant that most of the last moves has been fear related and not based on macroeconomic #s.

Definitely was a very "unusual" reaction (from what has happened the last few months) to the NFP. ES soar 15 points and the pair (easily) is still holding the intraday break point. That kind of reaction remind me when they broke correlation in Dec 09 /Jan 10.

Yes I do agree. What a mess. Fundamental-wise has been very hard to translate what's going on but I guess that's a clear sign that something structural (for the long term) is changing.

Don't know about it but if you look at AUDNZD it's been well bid for days now, and 1,3000 is the next tp, so either aud will keep climbing, or nzd will fall, wait & see

I read earlier the suggestions for positive influence of the Dollar rate if the NFP comes out better than the prediction and I place some selling orders after I see the outcome. The rate goes the other way around and I loose a lot of pips (DEMO account)

Can someone explain to me, why the dollar depreciates after such "good" news?
