IMO these are EUR/USD bear numbers. The news is somewhat good (strengthening risk), but it is more bad (strengthening off risk). They are not bad enough to implement Fed bond buying which is good for USD.

agreed..i think this will help to strengthen the USD as this reduces chances of QE2..i will take a short at 1.2870 if it goes back there..

thats what I call dealers running stops, very mild, no volume. If volume were in this market we could expect 100+ pip swings.....typical PA after risk event.

i have therefor changed my short bias to long bias.

added a couple of longs at 23 as i have a line there that i believe will be the trading channel for the near future.

sl below daily SR less some and tp1 at 2893 the other to let roll.

let's see what it brings

Meaning the correlation Euro/Dollar stock market can come back to the usual relations. So with the current US and EZ #s (especially German macro #s and French excellent earning season) the pair should aim higher after the normal shake out before the move.

Yeah, I read in the latest Lloyds Corporate Markets report that the correlation was back to 0.95 for E/U & S&P whereas in March it was -0.15.

There's been a big move in futures but E/U didn't have follow through ...
what a mess ...
