I don't have a straight answer, but we could blame the nfp expectations for it...

EDIT: Daily and 4H show signs of consolidation, looks like we're in a spring coiling zone. I have no plan at the moment, just waiting to see the reaction to nfp.

I should say "possible" pole, with air quotes and all. For right now it's bart....but NFP could change that.

Agreed. My guess is NFP will decide at least the fate of the next two weeks, if not month, all by its lonesome.

i could be wrong. but its not pride. i could add chf was rejected at a major tl..
im not 100% sold short or long. i will close if wrong.

We both could be wrong....right there with you. I'd love nothing more than to see any attempts at 2858 rejected hard. And even if not, I don't think it's time to throw in the towel until Queasing II kicks in (if). But I do think that if 2858 gets taken out we'll be dicking around with confusion...knifefight PA.

got a pennant on the weekly if you stand in the right position .. 2871 is valid too.. but other bigger forces may stop it. anyway i see mostly smaller charts here usually.

A couple things I’m noticing. Oh ya; “hi all;” been awhile; but I lurk daily.


On the daily; several weeks ago we hit 1.3332 which just so happened to be right around where the 200 ma on my chart was; then dropped. But PA still has not reached the 50% fib yet, I set from 1.5142 to 1.1875. Which, I think is unusual. Yet, the 200ma may have gotten in the way. Ya; I know, old news, but……it dropped and hung around the 23.6% for awhile and is now working it’s way back up. I suspect it probably will get back close to the 38.2% which will also then be touching the 200ma - again. From there it could go to the 50% or get rejected and head back down.

My standard stochastic on the daily is showing potentially fairly strong mojo for the upside. However, the 4 and 1hrs don’t. Yet, sometimes those tf’s with the stochs lie – hee, hee(notice the 4hr stoch back from 13-15 July). Yet, on the 1hr; PA has been crawling right on top of the 21ma. I’ve seen this often before, where PA does this and then all of a sudden something (usually fundy news) shoots it up more often than it dropping below the 21ma. So with all that gillimuguck crap I just spewed; I dunno, but my bias is up for now.

The expectation is for a worsening unemployment # - rate drop to 9.6%. ADP number was off - actual was lower. Everybody is expecting bad news & a bounce up for the euro. What a nice setup for an ambush, no?
