directionary = discretionary + directional. I like it.

[Dow Jones] US stocks fall sharply, with a sharp late sell-off as that anxiety over the state of the economy returns. DJIA falls 141 (1.4%) to 10010. S&P 500 loses 16 (1.5%) to 1049, with the key 1040 level coming back into view. Nasdaq Comp slides 34 (1.6%) to 2120. Keep in mind, it's one of the lowest (if not the lowest) volume days of the year. Still, investors don't seem very impressed with jawboning coming from central bankers lately. Treasurys gain, 10-yr yield falls 11 BP to 2.53%.

The trend will likely hit below 1.2628, after which a north would be ideal....

This is just my 1 cent opinion...

No, I know what you're saying.....there is, however, a difference between predicting and forecasting.....the latter inheritly considers the probability of fruition. I grant you, however, that most around these parts just predict....

Based on Price Action, I believe most buy orders are at 1.2605. You can place a pending buy order there with a 40 pip stop loss. High probability that you will be rewarded. :-)

Based on Fibonacci (which i don't exactly rely on but is sometimes pretty accurate), the next down leg will end at 1.2680. :-) It's a personal choice where to put your pending buy order. It's only 20 pips difference.

Anyway, I don't trade counter-trend. Had a short at 1.2682 and is rewarding me well. :-) (already a free trade now... either break even or profit)

if tl dont hold @ 2654 (#1 was 2654) ...... #2 2671.. then mid 2681 and target 2729 W/o a lower low. not saying we go here.. just being prepared

on the bear side w/o new high above 26566 mid is 2608 with target plus sos @2560.. a new low.

it has to slip past then bounce lower.. time to keep an eye on 2681

path to 2671.. if 2681 is reached it may be strong s/r.. its the lower edge of 2783 mofo. but 2594 should be a much stronger upper edge for 0.8229.

CFTC posted new rules for US spot fx today - the whole enchilada is in the Federal Register - see link.

Max margin on majors capped at 50:1, on minors 20:1 - as of Oct. 20.
