I believe that with news we could get another stupid spike with a top @ 1,2770/80 zone (maybe a excelent opportunity to sell).

Personally I think it would be healthier if this retrace to 1.2825 (maybe extend to 1.2875) before the bearish flag breaks for more momentum.

I will start to re-think my bearish views once 1.2960 is reached and held.

forget about QE2.......they wont implement it, they'll say if conditions worsen, they may weigh it as an option.

agreed! highly doubt that bernanke and co. will go for QE2..they kind of put it off the last time..they're really reluctant to go down that road. i expect the usd will strengthen on news that no impending QE2 for now..

U.S. GDP was 1.6 % vs. 1.4 % exp.,
personal consumption was 2 % vs. 1.6 % exp.

Both data better than expected.

The dollar trades marginally higher after the data at 1.2705 eur,
1.0248 chf, 85.03 jpy and 1.5480 gbp.
Metals at 1236.00 xau and 19.05 xag.

you got that right......what happened this week to EZ? ireland downgraded, spanish backtaxes.........I dont see how euro can strengthen. I won't doubt to see equities sell off at open either, remember, GDP was revised down almost a whole pct point......
