It's weeks like this that knock people out of the forex game.
They look sweet and innocent on the charts but they're killers.

And it looks like we may in fact be heading back up.

Works for me. The stop for my long just below 1.27 was just missed by 5 pips

Short is the obvious direction if your looking forward a few weeks from now but today it will be difficult to hold if your stops arnt above 128.50 I reckon
Price will get whipsawed around

I dont see any good setup scenarios on sight right now (would take more time to build upside than downside), so this is sideline stuff probably some time.
They think they are smarter than I am.

So far its holding the trend.Right now its at an inflection point.If this trend breaks sentiment will turn bearish.I didn't draw it in on this chart, but there's actually a ascending triangle here.

That's right a doji its done nothing this pair all week. And last weeks red candle wasn't that strong as opposed to the prior weeks red which was very strong so it's all hinging on this news in a few hours this weekly candle

So, at the moment it looks like retracement on weekly, hitting 50 fibo and up.

As Japanese market starts to close, it is likely some large LONG positions would be reduced due to a combination of big news/potential big swing moves tonight as well as the approaching weekend.

Might be risky to hold large position size risk-currencies such as EUR/USD if the trader is not around to monitor. Probably this describes part of this slight plunge in price at the moment.

I still think price would trade in a tight range first due to uncertainty and antipcation of tonight's news and BB's speech.
