Sure. We often see it after a news or stop hunting spike.....usually flat on top with a few long wicks trying to extend. Price hangs out at the top for a bit forming a table and then....poof.

Its why for each pair i have 15m and 1H (and change to 5m and 4H) now have a look at the candle on your 4H. (on EU and Usdx)

For me is forex finished in few days badly. It is to hard to predict which way it will go. And it increases the tension in your body which causes gambling feelings.

I have to admit I have no technical knowledge. Is it possible to succeed with technical knowledge ? Or this trading remains still gambling ?

Switch to the 5M real quick....see how the bottom wicks were relatively uniform (and no, most of them are not this uniform)? Formed a nice table, failed to breakupward, and the table broke....similar to a double top play...

In 30min timeframe.

Use ASI (accumulation swing index) just for breakouts, fake breakouts and possible reversal points. Its usually available on any platforms.

It saves a lot of headache....if you just remember to use it
