usdx 82.91 may be the bottom.. on eu 2716/21 may be a top.. but days ago target #2 said 2738 eu + sos.. atm usdx is at 82.97.. im taken short positions from here on up on eu.. w/o risking more then 2.5% of account im my med term account. if usdx has a bottom at 82.91. it will be reflected across the board excluding the yen.

When you see these spikes, you know that they (bucket shops) are hunting stops, and you know what direction price is moving.

I've been hit heavily trying dollar shorts today, but this does look like a good probability trade with the possible resistance a couple of points above.

This upper shelf that has held off follow thru penetration looks tempting, however this could be a nice staged setup to clean up some retailers. I'd hold steady mates, as this euro thing has swung back and forth all week, it's bound to break ranks before too long.

Maybe .2730 a reversal...

1m chart... now since i entered, this thing has gone back and tapped it a third time as well. so this may indicate a willingness to go higher. it's a little weird.

I usually take 1 lot off at or a'rd 10 pips and then hold the rest for the ride down. I'll close at +1 or +2 if need be to avoid going negative and simply reenter AND if the trade still looks good. waiting for the double tap which is VERY normal eliminates the drawdown on a heavy order or having your first entry taken out.

this one is a little hinky atm so we'll see...

as of right now, i closed the remainder of the order at +2 on the 3rd tap and am waiting to see what happens next. I may wait to re-enter a little lower down rather than those beautiful "to the pip" entries I like to get from pivot trading.

Of course, many here say Pivots are useless and don't work and they're probably right.

In a strong downtrend like we've had, getting an R1 tap and reaction in asia should have been a strong drop off the pivot... setting up a turn and burn scenario, but the last couple days have been a little unusual at times. the bear spike earlier today has had me nervous as well.

It is what it is tho... we take it or leave it.

It now looks like we may hang a'rd here for a bit... I'll wait to enter a bit lower if and when the drop is confirmed OR... i may go to bed instead.
