I didn't trade it last week, came close to putting in a Short which until it made that nice run to the upside late last week would have worked out pretty nicely for me.

I've been trading this pair as follows, start going long from 1.0280 adding lots every 50-70 pips further it drops and conversely going short 1.0550.. In-between I leave it alone, just let the price come to me

close my long at 1.0477, i'm afraid there will be a little bounce before it continue upward. so close for now, and take another long if this pair bounce, and leave it if this pair not bounce and continue to north. happy trading everyone.

I was expecting a move downward below 1.04 but usdcad is well bid...too much bid

im pretty much level and range trader so mu chart is very simple...
this is what im looking for this week

1. average weekly range is 260

2. UC broke the upper triangle and suggesting a strong up trend

3. A is the low of the week so far

4. B is important key level ( resistant is slightly lower but i prefer murray lines and it is personal thing)

5. Breaking B wil bring to C that is a suggested weekly top for this week (A+weekly range =C)

6. im in long right now and will only go for short at point C if combine with good divergence


This is my current opinion and as always opinion might change based on scenarios

the charts above shows the past. No one knows the future. One can only try to predict the future based on probabilities. I am long, but I've been short scalping.

What are your thoughts?

"Possible" todays scenario

1. With GJ and EJ move upward UC favorably move downward

2. Point A is suggested weekly top for this scenario

3. Downward move will bring to strong murray pivot point at point B

5. Suggested weekly bottom is point C (A-Weekly Range= C)


* 1.0440 is also support line


Opinion will change based on scenario

I have been using this channel to scalp this afternoon.

This is an incredibly slow day with very little purposeful movement.

The next support is at 1.0586 and will probably prove to be fairly weak.

1. 1.0545 is holding strong suggesting upward in favor but with GU and EU move upward UC is hardly move upward

2. Im kinda indecisive for today maybe somebody could point me better

Watch crude prices, making some nice gains of late. Be careful Longing this one for the time being. I think the Pair is overbought anyway so my bias may be playing a role over sound judgment but I would be careful with the Longs right now.

Unemployment better, now for crude oil inventories. if that's better too. we should probably see usdcad back at 1.0650 region hopefully.
