0202 GMT [Dow Jones] GBP/USD falls to 1.5449, lowest level since July 27 as weak Japan shares weigh on investors' views on global economic outlook, also risk appetite under pressure after UK newspaper The Times quotes leading policymaker at BoE warning UK faces a "significant" risk of a renewed slide into recession, says Shinkin Asset Management senior dealer Jun Kato. Adds if Nikkei falls below psychological 9,000 level again, declines in these units likely to gather pace. GBP/USD may fall to 1.5400. AUD/JPY hits 75.34, lowest since July 20, may fall to 75.00; EUR/JPY hits 107.21, lowest level since November 2001, may fall to 106.80; USD/JPY last at 85.01, target 84.73. ([email protected])

Question for anyone willing to answer. This is more curiosity then anything else

My gut instinct says we are going to see a retest of 1.3xxx area from here within the next 3-4 days. My charts all indicate continuation lower.

There is a conflict in my edge versus my perception skills, if you are in my position, what do you do?

Keep in mind my edge is something I can never trade without

26544 will tell a story. just like 2644 is doing atm.. but w/o 2689 there are no bulls.. 2594 puts us in a volatile 50 % area.. its 880 pips wide. until we cross anything can happen..we may bounce higher anywhere near 2594/2612. and even below 2524.. but once at 2624 if the bounce dont carry us above 2594.. lower trend should continue.

I'm watching closely as there is divergence on the 1h tf..as I've learned on the way up that may not mean much either..just something to keep in mind..

On second thought. What will be the point of intervening if the U.S. economy doesn't show any sign of recovery? Will be like throwing money to the toilet.
